Although Hurricane Katrina was nearly a year ago, the residents of New Orleans are still struggling to get back on their feet. New Orleans rap group, Sqad Up are trying to rally the troops this summer with their new album We Here Now dropping August 8th, 2006. From Colton we hop on the 10 Freeway all the way East where we catch the I-95 South and head for Miami! As of late, the 305 has become the hot spot for all things Hip Hop. On this next track, Ricky Ross and Pit combine their heat on the mic with the Mayor of Miami Trick Daddy and DJ Khaled over a banging beat provided by the Orlando duo The Runners (Who also produced “Hustlin’” for Rick Ross), which will be Khaled’s next single for his album Lisstteeenn!!! dropping June 6th, 2006. Back in Los Angeles, BIAS The Rockstar has “Got It Made.” You might remember him from the MTV Emcee Battles a few years ago, in which he took an L. But, he’s bounced back and is making a push to make 2006 a big year for him and his Rockstar Entertainment. He’ll be releasing The Rockstar Mixtape in the summer so look out for that.
