Sean Deez is a name that has been featured on dubcnn now and again, but never really got a proper look. The Inglewood rapper has been grinding for a long time now, putting out mixtapes and albums since 2002, including his “Ambitions” album, which was featured in The Source magazine.

He’s now linked back up with San Diego’s Mitchy Slick and Wrongkind Records to release his new projects. He had first met Mitchy in ’97 through West Coast pioneer Sir Jinx, who Deez credits as the producer who first influenced him to rhyme.

When asked about the Wrongkind connection, Deez stated to dubcnn that “the Wrongkind movement is about powerful music from individuals with real stories behind their names, who represent hustlers that have experienced the highs of legendary street fame and ridaz that can never let go of the pain attached to the lows of death and life sentences.

His new mixtape “VVS“, which is hosted by DJ JiJi Sweet, drops tomorrow. Features include Strong Arm Steady, 211 and Damani amongst others, while production was provided by Disko and Dubb Knox amongst others. Dubcnn has two preview tracks for ya’ll to check out below:

Sean Deez – Hood (Prod. by Disko)
Sean Deez – Bossin’ Up (Prod. by Dollaboyz)

Make sure to support Sean Deez and cop the “VVS” mixtape tomorrow. For more information, check him out on seandeez.com, MySpace or YouTube.
