Guerilla Black Is “Back” On “The Black Tapes: Volume 1”

Since his Virgin Records album release “Guerilla City” in 2004, the Chicago born, Compton raised Guerilla Black has split the opinion of Hip-Hop fans worldwide; some love him, some loathe him. Whatever your opinion few can deny his albums and subsequent mixtapes have had plenty of reply value.

Over the years we have updated you on much of his work, most recently he has featured on an edition of our West Coast Grind radio show as well as being the host of DJ Ill Will’s Rap Or Die: Volume 6 mixtape. Most recently on the solo tip he released a mixtape with DJ Ill Will entitled Real N*ggaz Say Real Sh*t.

Today we have new music from Guerilla Black and once again he has lined up with DJ Ill Will for a new mixtape – due for release later this month – entitled “The Black Tapes: Volume 1.” The first record to drop from the project is the aptly titled “He’s Back!!” and we have it available for download or to listen to via our Embeddable Streaming Audio players below – check it out now.
