Just over a year ago was the last time we heard from Los Angeles MC Akadimik. In September 2007 he had just released his DJ-Age presented The Essence mixtape which saw him pay tribute to the 90’s Hip-Hop sound; “I’m rapping over tracks like “Cream,” “Running’,” Gangstas Paradise” and many more,” explained Akadmimik.
Since then he has been busy working on his debut album which, as we told you last year, was set to be called “The Wakeup Call.” The album is finally ready and is being released this week on November 25th via CDBaby in hard copy format and his MySpace page in $5 Digital Download format.
“The Wakeup Call” features production from Amplified, Cmagik , Maverick, G-Mo, F-Major, Riggs, C-Sharp and many more. Below we have the the full album tracklist as well as two tracks to sample from the project. he first is a Riggs production entitled “Let It Go” and the second sees Akadimik over a Maverick beat on a song called “Round Of Applause.”
