Rome Wants You To “Be Yourself” & Reflects On 1984

In early December 2008 we reported that BYI Entertainment, home of Omar Cruz, had signed Dubcnn regular Rome as a recordng artist.

Having made a name for himself as a talented music producer working with superstar rappers such as Rick Ross, Busta Rhymes and Omar Cruz R.O.M.E. is now gearing up for life in the limelight on the mic. Today we have two tracks from Rome; the first is the track we announced would appear on the world famous DJ Skee Live From L.A. Radio Show in December that many of you will have heard called “1984.”

Since the release of 1984 Rome has been soaking up the buzz from the online community and releasing freestyles & records through outlets such as DJ Skee’s Live From L.A. SiriusXM Radio show, The Frankie Needles 30 Market Sindicated Radio Show as well as another radio stations in California.

Today we have just been sent an exclusive track called “Be Yourself” which is also produced by Rome. This new record sees Rome dropping thought provoking lyrics [“When everybody wanna be somebody, but nobody wanna be themselves…they wanna go to heaven, without going through hell”] over a relaxed instrumental.
