It’s already been a month since we last seen artists from the Top Dawg Ent. camp here on Dubcnn [see: Top Dawg Ent “All Rize To Tha Top” Mixtape Free Download], but that doesn’t mean that they slowed down on the recording. Jay Rock, K. Dot, Schoolboy Q and the rest of the crew have been dropping mixtapes and especially street tracks left and right. Join us for the TDE catch up update featuring selected tracks that have slipped through the cracks (newest to oldest).

TDE’s next artist in line, Schoolboy Q, just dropped his new project called “Gangsta & Soul”. The 16 track deep mixtape is hosted by DJ Ill Will & DJ Dave and comes with guest appearances from Jay Rock, K. Dot, Ab-Soul, Punch, Tyga and others. Q showcases his skills over new production as well as classic beats from Pete Rock & CL Smooth, A Tribe Called Quest, Nas and many others. The mixtape also features the track “

      1. Groove
” with Britney Mac & Jay Rock which we posted up a few months ago. We have the mixtape available for free download, make sure you give this a check!

Ever since Jay Rock released the official remix for his first single “All My Life” a few months ago [see: Jay Rock – All My Life (Remix) Ft. The Game, Gorilla Zoe & Busta Rhymes], fans have been requesting a west coast version. They finally got what they asked for as Jay Rock released the monster remix over the weekend. The 9 minute track features bars from Eastwood, Omar Cruz, K. Dot, Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, Glasses Malone, Crooked I, Nipsey Hussle, Sinful, Ya Boy, Roccett, TK, Problem, Keno, Spider Loc, 211, Bangloose, Mistah F.A.B., Roscoe Umali. Hear it for yourself below and look out for the other regional remixes coming soon…

Jay Rock – All My Life (West Coast Remix)

Jay Rock recently did a 2009 remake of 50 Cent’s classic “How To Rob” and the Watts emcee definitely handled it. As Jay says in the beginning, he is having fun with this, so you shouldn’t take it too serious, especially when he’s bringing up the names of his own boys… This is taken off the new Jay Rock mixtape “Gudda Muzik” hosted by DJ Kay Slay and DJ Noodles dropping tomorrow (May 18th).

Another song that has been making its rounds by Jay Rock is “Thank The Lord”, where he’s rapping over the same beat as The Game’s latest joint “Bang Along”. It’s cool to hear another artist flip it and give it new life.. Check it out if you haven’t heard this one yet.

Last but not least, here is another joint which slipped through the cracks but is definitely worth checking out. The track we have for you is from TDE’s secret weapon K. Dot and it’s called “Fuck A Hook”. For more info on K. Dot you can hit up his MySpace page or follow him @ www.twitter.com/kdottde.
