Jag Is Back! Releases “The Arrival” For Free Download

0

July 2006 was the first time we introduced you to Watts MC Jag in our On The Come Up Feature. From that introduction Jag quickly established himself as an artist to look out for when he released his first mixtape in January 2007 right here on Dubcnn.

Music Money: Volume 1 (Money Over Fame) was released for free download and showcased immediately his skill not only on the mic but for selecting production that suits his style.

From there Jag dropped a few records on Dubcnn that were to be on his planned “Volume 2” in the series entitled “Tha General Strikes Back.” Tracks included One Day featuring BJ The Chicago Kid and Check Out My Swag Produced by The Animal House.

Since then all has been silent from the Watts MC, no new music and no sign of that long awaited new release…that is, until today! Jag is back and the hiatus has been worth it as he brings with him his long awaited “Music Money: Volume 2” now sub-titled “The Arrival.” The new project picks up where he left off with a recap of Volume 1 in his Introduction before he unleashes over the following 17 new tracks.

“The Arrival” is a mixture of brand new music and freestyles that shows Jag’s growth and maturity from Volume 1 to now and re-establishes himself as an MC to be watched.
