Onxard, Ca, rapper Down aka Kilo is going to be releasing his new album ﾄCholo Skateﾓ on September 1st, 2009. A few weeks ago, the single ﾓPut Your Locs Onﾔ featuring Jah Free was released, to which we have the video for you today. But first, here is a new leak off the record called ﾓCertified Bossﾔ, on which Down teams up with West Coast legend DJ Quik as well as Konvict Muzik artist Detail.

For his new album ﾓCholo Skate,ﾔ Down once again enlists an all-star cast of guests: Snoop Dogg, Too Short, DJ Quik, Bo-Roc, and even the late great 2Pac. The album also boasts production from super producer Fingazz, known for his futuristic sound mixed in with old school funk. Additional production was provided by Konvict Muzik signee Detail.

In addition to that, Down has also taken on the role of Executive Producer and star in the urban-comedy film ﾓLean Like a Choloﾔ based on the rap song, to be directed by Demetrius Navarro.
ﾓLean Like a Cholo,ﾔ the film, boasts a multi-ethnic cast that includes, Chino XL (Gang Warz), Latin sexy siren Vida Guerra, film vet John Amos (Coming to America), Tiny Lister, Emilio Rivera, music artist Big Tank and Valente Rodriguez (Ernie Cardenas,The George Lopez show).
