Audio & Video Catch-up

Here’s a pile of audio and video that was supposed to go up in the past week (and beyond), but slipped through the cracks. But all of it is worth to at least give it the late treatment.

No One (Dae One & Noni Spitz) have just dropped a 7-track EP called “Clearance (Substance Abuse)” in prepartion of their upcoming album “The Substance”, due out in November. This is a free project and it’s giving you a treat for having to wait for the album being pushed back. Now here are a few exclusive songs and remixes that you wont find anywhere else from the duo.

Terrace Martin released yet another video off his super dope & free project “Here, My Dear“. And for one of my favorite songs, may I add: They picked “The Makings of You” for the next visual, and, as you should already know, it features Kurupt and Overdoz. Once again directed by Calmatic.

Fresh off of the “Freedom Express Line Tour” with musical partner Jansport J and Sony/XOXO Records artist Cymarshall Law, Hawdwerk releases the debut video off of his mixtape “Off The Clock”. The visual is for the track called “You So Craaazy” featuring Curtiss King and Noa James. Directed by Danlen for HeavenHell Entertainment.

Hot off the heels of his free project “Rocky Maivia“, Moe Green has just released a new video for the song “Iced Out Lifestyle,” produced by Indecent The Slapmaster. This video is the first to come out from the Vallejo’s forthcoming free, seven song EP collaboration with OnSmash.com, set for a November release.

About a year after dropping their slept-on album “Uzi Does It”, the West Coast collective Get Busy Committee have released a remix of their single “Dancin’ On Ya Grave”. Group members Ryu (Styles of Beyond), Apathy (Demigodz, Army of the Pharaohs) and Scoop Deville are joined by heavyweights Murs, Xzibit and Pull Wall.

Dope track, but what are other choice do you have if the line-up alone makes it worth checking out?

LIV of L.A.U.S.D. released a video for “Bounce Back”, a song featured on his debut album “LIV Pronounced L4”. This is the first visual off the project, which came out in July for free download. “Bounce Back” features fellow member of the L.A.U.S.D. production team, Polyester, and vocalist Felisa Mirasol. Directed by LIV and Direct. Video spotted at 2DBz.

Bay Area producer/rapper Droop-E has recently partnered up with clothing lines BLVCK SCVLE and Diamond Supply Co. for the release of his highly anticipated mixtape titled “BLVCK Diamond Life”. This body of work demonstrates his natural talent for rapping and producing by blending the laid-back, smooth tones of Sade with Hip-Hop ヨ and he’s showcasing the Bay from a different perspective. Features include his pops E-40, Ya Boy, J. Valentine, Matt Blaque, Laroo, amongst others.

Well put together project which gets the thumbs up, (nothing else would have been accepted when coming up with a concept involving Sade’s name).
