Just over six months ago we re-introduced you to an artist that has been featured on Dubcnn since 2004, Compton representer Wing. The Galaxy West Entertainment MC has featured on Dubcnn regularly (check the archives) over the years, noteably with his Eat Or Be Eaten mixtape in 2008.
Last year Wing announced on Dubcnn that he has dropped the moniker and is now Brian James, his real name and subsequently released his long awaited Eat Or Be Eaten Vol. 2 with production from Chris Reed aka Blacc, DJ Ophax, Malcolm Harvest and Brian James himself plus features with Quiz of Blu Division, Curtiss King, Ghrimm, Kraftie and Kace Moon.
Things have been quiet since that mixtape but rest assured Brian has stayed busy! We have just received a HEATER of a record entitled “Listen” produced by Malcolm Harvest and a video that he’s put together for the single too – this is NOT to be slept on!
