It’s been more than a minute since we’ve dropped new music from Latino MC Young Brown on Dubcnn.
Having dropped his debut album “Out Tha Gate” in 2006 the South Gate MC quickly gathered pace as being one of the hottest latino rappers on the West Coast. Over recent years solo music has been limited however today we have news that Young Brown is getting ready to release a new mixtape entitled “Damage Control” hosted by DJ Warrior and J Steez.
He has been locked in the studio over the past year recording one hard hitting track after another for the project and has linked up with artists including Suga Free, Kartoon, Glasses Malone, 40 Glocc, WestSide Bugg, Bad Azz, The Jacka, Ese Daz and more for the mixtape. Production is handled by acclaimed producer J Steez.
From the new release we’ve received two tracks for download, first up is the J Steez produced “Young, Gifted & Brown” which features a flipped Joe Bataan sample.
