Canadian songstress Miss Melanie Fiona, nee’ Hallim, officially stepped onto the music scene back in the summer of 2009 with the release of her heralded solo debut, “The Bridge” via SRC/Universal.
The stellar set spawned a succession of popular entries; “Give It To Me Right,” “It Kills Me,” of which earned Fiona a well-deserved Grammy nomination for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance, “Bang Bang,” “Monday Morning,” “Ay Yo” and “Priceless.” The gorgeously arranged “”Gone and Never Coming Back” is the lead single off her highly anticipated, soon-to-be-released sophomore set, “The MF Life.”
