Since its distribution deal with UNIVERSAL/INgrooves LRT Entertainment has fast become a label to watch with the hotbed of talent on its roster – and each month it seems to grow.
Young Maestro, Seven, LV, OG Cuicide, Siccness, Verbal and Clinton Wayne are some of the Dubcnn regulars that call LRT Entertainment home and today we are about to introduce you to the latest signing, the Ohio born, Cali representer Mayne T.R.I.P..
Mayne T.R.I.P. – an acronym standing for Truly Respecting Intelligent Prophets – was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio but – having been accepted to the Cleveland School of Arts to study music – had to move with his mother and two sisters to the West Coast in the early 90’s.
Since getting into music full time Mayne T.R.I.P. has performed at various locations across Cali; L.A. & Orange County’s House Of Blues, The Key Club, Whiskey A-Go-Go, The Knitting Factory in Hollywood, The Galaxy Theater in Orange County and countless clubs and bars across the state.
Since 1999, Mayne has released 6 solo projects under his own indie label MayneLyne Musik. His most recent “The Mayne Event Volume 2”, which is now available for download via MayneLyne Musik, was part of the reason for the LRT Entertainment deal.
Right now he is focusing on releasing the third installment “The Mayne Event Volume 3: From Cleveland 2 Cali EP” – cover shown to the right – hosted by Arizona’s own DJ John Blaze in the summer.
