The homie Okwerdz has by now established himself as one of the fiercest and most talented battle rappers to grace the mic, but with this new video, he is stepping outside of his usual comfort zone and speaking on a very important topic: the censorship of the Internet.
As most of you should know by now, Congress is going to be voting on two new acts, the “Stop Online Piracy Act” (SOPA) and the “Protect IP Act” (PIPA), which could, if they pass, change everything about the internet as we know it.
This is very real and effects every single person that uses the internet! Okwerdz put the threat we are facing into a song and it’s been getting a lot of positive responses virally. Check it out:
