A few months ago, dubcnn introduced you to the Tree-Post Collective, spearheaded by Stephen Young. The company was created with the intention of being an all-encompassing home for artists from all walks of life looking to expand their brand. From talent booking to brand management and event planning, the Tree-Post has lent its services to artists such as DJ Quik, Suga Free, Mack 10, Dub C, Kurupt, Ray J, Kid Frost, The Jacka, Don P, Medusa, DJ Icy Ice, DJ Exile, Mister CR and more.
The last piece of content we brought you from Tree-Post was a short documentary entitled “Get Your Street Game Up“, which documented the grind and hard work that goes behind these records.
The Tree-Post Collective, along with D-Wizzey (of West Stylin Music Group) have been keeping busy, expanding their network while collaborating with a strong collective of artists and local business execs on a series of new projects that are scheduled to drop before the new year.
One of these upcoming projects is Da Giantz, a collaborative team of powerful emcees that got together to create the self entitled single “Da Giantz“. These artists are Noa James, Baba Zoom, Aliso Black, Maylay Sage, and LC Jonson, along with DJ Lala. The video and single will premiere in mid-november, for now check out some footage of the recording of the project (courtesy of BZFilmz.com).
Another powerful emcee collaborating with The Tree-Post Collective is Mister CR (of Project Blowed, Goodlife Bullyz, and Rumble Pakk Records). The Tree-Post Collective is assisting Mister CR with the marketing for his soon to be released EP titled “Shit Talkin” which includes his hot new single “PEST” produced by Spok Beats (Chamber Records). The Tree-Post Collective has also partnered up with rising R&B singer Precyse, who will have a new single coming out around Thanksgiving 2012. Until then, check out Precyse’s music video to his current single “When I See You“.
Furthermore, The Tree-Post Collective just launched the “Get Your Street Game Up – Show Series 2012”, which is a local music tour S. Cali with live performances and radio interviews. Artists peforming at some of their stops include E40, Da Giantz, Suga Free w/ DJ Lala, Mister CR, Dwele, Precyse, LC Johnson w/ P.O.L., Ill Camille, Young Sam, Rakaa, T-MAC, Mighty Mo Rodgers and many others.
