Earlier this year Tech N9ne released his video for his single, “Fragile” featuring Kendrick Lamar from his 2013 album.
Next week he will release his Strangeulation (Collabos) LP on Tuesday, May 6 (which you can pre-order now) – today, the independent rap star dropped the first video the LP.
“Over It” features Ryan Bradley and sees Tech voices his frustration with the current climate in music and details his strategy to take it all over. The song and video for “Over It” gives a glimpse of the overall concept for Strangeualtion. In Tech’s words;
“Strangeulation is me and my roster of elite MC’s putting the entire rap game in a choke-hold, lyrically.”
The 21-cut Strangeulation features the entire Strange Music roster, including recent Strange Music signee, MURS, the independent rap pioneer who makes his first appearance on a Strange Music release since inking with the independent music titan. Since the signing, MURS and Strange Music labelmates ¡Mayday! announced they will be dropping their collaboration LP ¡MursDay! on June 10.
