To the left, you see the cover of the Scipio/Game mixtape put out by Warrior and DJ Strong, called Cali Untouchables Radio Pt. 3. Well that boy Scipio, for those who are still sleeping, is one of the illest emcees out right now. I was priveleged enough to be with Scipio, Warrior, Strong, Da Riffs and others when they were filming a DVD. During that time, I was able to sit down and do a quick interview with Scipio. We talk about his outlook on his career, Ras Kass, the state of Los Angeles Hip Hop and much more. On top of that, I was also able to grab the producer team of the moment Da Riffs and get an interview with them, too. As you can see with Coast Control, they do most of the production on these mixtapes and, as you'll hear in the interview, they handle tons of production for Video Games. We speak about who they've worked with, plan on working with, their musical tastes and more. Peep those interviews out, as audio for the moment, and don't forget to cop DJ Warrior's mixtapes and support Scipio and Da Riffs also!

1104883334 - January 1, 1970 By : Damn that was quick huh... Told ya'll I'll be back with more news about the upcoming Suga Free album "Just Add Water" which they have just started working on. My homie grafikpimp was present at one of their studio sessions at Kenny McCloud's studios the other day and got some info and pictures for our visitors right here at the Dub.
Also look for the first single to be premiered here around the end of the 1st quarter of 2005. The guest appearances for the album aren't confirmed yet, but look for some hot names... What I've heard has been very promising. We're also going to be conducting a video interview with the Neighbourhood Playa Patna himself, so lookout for that coming soon.
Suga Free was in the lab with his crew, including producer Freeze who had produced the unreleased song "Cool" which was buzzing all over, which didn't make Free's last album due to sample clearance. Also present were Kenny McCloud, Mike (Free's Cousin), Clue Dawg, J-Steez and more.
From what we heard, the song they layed down last night, produced by Freeze, and with Clue Dog on the hook, is sounding real promising, hopefully Free will deliver another banger with "Just Add Water"!
Check out some pictures below, and lookout for our video interview, which will clear up alot of rumours, including the situation with DJ Quik.

1130369962 - January 1, 1970 By : The entire G-Unit crew has been touring across Europe for the past months. When I say the entire crew, I mean: 50 Cent, Young Buck, Lloyd Banks, Olivia, Mobb Deep, 40 Glocc, M.O.P., Mase, Big Twin, Spider Loc, DJ Whoo Kid & Alchemist. Tony Yayo wasn't present due to his parole situation. I rolled to the show with the homie DJ S.T.A.T.I.C., and the fresh Infamous/G-Unit signee 40 Glocc took us in. I was surprised about the very good atmosphere inside the camp, everybody seemed to be getting along and in a good mood. In the backstage area, Havoc, Prodigy, Lil Fame, Alchemist, 40 Glocc and more were eating, the latest DJ Whoo Kid mixtape banging through the speakers. Everybody was getting ready for the show, getting dressed, and focused before entering the stage in Karlsruhe, Germany.
About 15,000 fans were waiting outside for 50 Cent and his crew to rock the house. Those who have seen G-Unit in concert before know that they're not necessarily known to be very good performers, but I was hoping for Mobb Deep & M.O.P to rip it. As always, 50 started with "What Up Gangsta!" and then went through his hits, from his first album as well as "The Massacre". Although he has improved his stage performance, I have to say for an artist of his caliber, he has little to no stage presence, and he does the same hand movement throughout his whole set. With Young Buck and Lloyd Banks, his hype men during his verses, often being louder than him, you start to wonder what the crowd is going crazy about.
Mobb Deep get on stage after about half an hour and perform "Out Of Control" with 50, then do "Got It Twisted", "Shook Ones II" and "Quiet Storm". Afterwoods, Billy Danze & Lil Fame got on stage to do "Ante Up" and "Cold As Ice" and left. Throughout the one and a half hour performance, 50 also brought out Mase, who only did his verse off "Mo' Money Mo Problems" and exited the stage again. Olivia came out to perform "Candy Shop" aswell as her Jelly Roll-produced single "Twist It" with Lloyd Banks. Mobb Deep were the highlight to me, although Havoc did sound better on stage, while Prodigy was sometimes hard to hear. M.O.P. came with a lot of energy, too bad they only did two songs.
Roughly halfway through the show, Young Buck took the stage by himself for a chronic break, calling West Coast G-Unit artist Spider Loc to the front. Buck introduced Spider to Germany, as G-Units newest addition (although he was signed months prior to Mobb Deep, M.O.P. and Mase...) from the West Coast, and made the whole crowd put up their W's and yell out "Go Spider, Go Spider". Spider himself just chilled on stage, lit Buck's blunt and threw up his Dub's.
I can't forget to mention 50 Cent's shots at Game during the show neither. At some point he stopped the music and addressed the crowd. "If you got love for 50 Cent & the G-Unit, let me hear you say G-UNIIIT!", followed by everybody yelling "G-UNIT!". He continued his speech with "And if you don't got love for 50 Cent & the G-Unit, let me hear you say G-UNOOT!", followed by the crowd, alot of them obviously not realizing what 50 was saying, yelling out "G-UNOT!". I have to admit, the look on 50's face was priceless. As always, 50 added "Ok for all of those who yelled G-Unit, thank you for the support! For all those who yelled G-Unot, thank you too. Go pick up The Documentary, and make me rich! I make more money off Game's album than Game does! Haha! First me and Dre make money, before Game see's any money! So make me rich!". A woman in the front row screamed "Game is better than you!", which 50 laughed at and replied with "If Game was really better than me, he could do this..." and "In Da Club" started banging through the speakers, making the venue go crazy of course.
Overall, it was a pretty cool show, always good to see the M.O.B.B. and M.O.P., Young Buck is a good performer aswell. 50 has improved, but he still has a long way to go before he can be called a good performer.
After the concert, we caught up with the G-Unit crew at the hotel and at the afterparty, got some pictures for ya'll, aswell as some exclusive video drops.

1145671409 - January 1, 1970 By : South Gate's very own Young Brown, who we've been reporting on for over a year, is set to drop his debut album
"Out Tha Gate" in June.
The Rooftop Muzik affiliate reached out to Suga Free, Bad Azz, 40 Glocc, Glasses Malone, W.S. Bugg, Kokane, Ese Daz (Spanish Fly), Ca$ino, Bokie Loc, Nek-One, Infra-Redd, Blaze and Hook to join him on the album, and got laced up with top notch production by the likes of J-Steez who did most of the album, aswell as Nek-One & Co-T.
Young Brown has been recording on the album for over a year, and has been on his grind performing and opening up shows for Suga Free & Glasses Malone amongst others and toured overseas aswell. He recently shot a video for his single "Fly Girl", which you can view here.
I have two exclusive joints from the album for ya'll to download from the 21-track deep album. The first one is the single, "Fly Girl", featuring Ese Daz (Spanish Fly). Check it out below:
Young Brown - Fly Girl (ft. Ese Daz (Spanish Fly)) (Prod. by J Steez)
The second cut features Pomona's pimp Suga Free, Ca$ino and Hook. This one was produced by J Steez aswell, so you already know it's gonna be funky! It's called "The 1-4 Me", listen/download the song below:
Young Brown - The 1-4 Me (ft. Suga Free, Ca$ino & Hook)) (Prod. by J Steez)
Hopefully now you'll have a good idea of what the album will sound like. Personally, the record like some fresh summer music, and is gonna be dropping just in time.
You can also catch Y. Brown on the upcoming J Steez album "Return Of The West", the upcoming Ca$ino & Spanish Fly albums, aswell as Westsidin Ent's "Promoting & Politikin" record. We will naturally keep you updated on the album, and bring you more audio in near future.

1147634955 - January 1, 1970 By : This is history in the making! You will probably be just as surprised as I was when I heard this. Ice Cube and Daz Dillinger have been in the same circles for over a decade, but, up until this Ice Cube & Dogg Pound tour that's tearing up the States right now, the two of them had never been in the same room, let alone went on tour with each other.
Now that Ice Cube is promoting his "Laugh Now, Cry Later" album dropping June 6th, and Daz & Kurupt are promoting "So So Gangsta", "Cali Iz Active" and "Same Day, Different Shit", they've been on the grind, and hopefully we'll end up seeing some hot music coming out of it aswell.
In the process of promoting and touring, Daz also ran into 40 Glocc. As you know, they've had an on-going feud for past few years. With Kurupt serving as the middle man, the two put their differences aside and moved on. For those who don't know, Daz has also squashed his beef with JT The Bigga Figga, who was at the "Cali Iz Active" video shoot.
I have a series of pictures for ya'll, taken on tour:
Ice Cube & Daz At 100.3 The Beat in Philly, PA
Ice Cube & Daz At 100.3 The Beat Pt. 2
Daz, Kurupt, 40 Glocc, Canibus & DJ Kurupt
Daz At Sirius Sattelite Radio
Daz & Jermaine Dupri On The Set Of "It's A Daz Thang"
Daz On The Set Of "It's A Daz Thang" Pt. 2
Daz, JT The Bigga Figga & Bigg A
Bigg A
You have an idea of how the D.P.G. is doing it right now, this summer is about to be real crazy!

The single is "Informant", featuring Jayo Felony. In the video, you can also hear one of the tracks off the album featuring Kurupt at the beginning, and another one featuring Ras Kass, at the end. Check out the song and the video below:

1204813912 - January 1, 1970 By : To make a difference in the rap game today, you have to grind way harder than you had to just a few years ago. 40 Glocc recognized that early on in his career, and has kept his name constantly popping in the streets and on the net.
Anything G-Unit related is controversial these days, and the boy did catch a lot of heat for staying down with the Unit throughout the past few years. He's been communicating with his fans on a daily basis through his MySpace page, his radio tune "Borrow U" with Akon has been heating up the airwaves, while dropping new street bangers on dubcnn on a regular basis.
Today we're bringing you another exclusive joint, a remix to 40 Glocc's street single from last year "Hammers". He went and got the whole G-Unit crew to rap with him on it, 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Young Buck and Tony Yayo all get down with 40 on this one. Listen to the "Hammers Remix (G-Unit Rider)" below:

The original thug lord has done it once again. With his flawless perpetual style and untouchable verbal heat on the mic and stage, Yukmouth AKA Godzilla prepares to release his latest project United Ghettos of America Vol. 2 DVD along with a scorching soundtrack to back it up. You may most likely recognize him from the platinum Bay Area rap sensation The Luniz (also known as Luni Toonz) and their never-faded ganja anthem I Got 5 on It & The Ice Cream Man. You probably own Thugged Out: The Albulation, Thug Lord: The New Testament, Godzilla, or one of his previous power packed projects. It’s nothing new. Yukmouth has a bigger body of work than Frank Sinatra and is one of the heaviest international rap sensations out there. Gaining ultimate exposure across the world throughout America, Europe, etc, Yukmouth portrays himself as the one of a kind real life thugged out west coast rapper. When it comes down to it, he has seen and done it all. Who started out in the ghettos of Oakland, California selling drugs, getting locked up, and writing his first song (The Ice Cream Man) in jail, ended up touring with Puff Daddy, Biggie, Mary J and some of the biggest names in hip hop history. During the period when recording Lunitk Muzik he landed into the hands of J. Price (CEO of Rap a lot Records in Houston, TX) who then offered him a solo record deal for which he released Thugged out: The Albulation which sold over 250,000 units with no video nor airplay. He then dropped Thug Lord: The New Testament which did just as good. In 2003 Yukmouth dropped Godzilla, his third album with Rap a Lot Records which is said to be his best album ever. What makes him flawless and one of the most respected rappers in game is the fact he stays loyal to the real and original figures in the industry and stays connected with the underground. He is mainstream but not commercial. Under his own label Smoke a lot Records, his most recent project was United Ghettos of America Vol. I the DVD and soundtrack which was one of his best works as well.
Though the critically acclaimed United Ghettos of America Vol. 1 was a sensation, volume II is said to be a hundred times better. The project will come in a DVD plus Soundtrack together in one pack unlike the first which the two was sold separately. On the soundtrack you will find the likes of exclusive songs from The Régime, Eastwood, Young Roscoe, Tha Realest, C-Bo, Spice 1, Dru Down, Ms. Toi, Outlawz, Mac Dre, Numskull, & Tech N9ne. The soundtrack also include the singles Kalifornia G’z – Yukmouth, Crooked I & E-40, Stunt 211 (50 Cent diss track) – Yukmouth, Silverback Gorillas, & Bang ‘em Smurf, We Just Wanna Thug – Yukmouth & Noreaga, and I love Dro – Yukmouth & Bun B. The DVD will include exclusive footage, lots of females and XXX Eye Candy Scenes, live events, performances, interviews and basically footage of how celebrities do it big. You can expect to see raw footage with Dennis Hall (Bunny Ranch), Eddie Griffin, Cedric The Entertainer, The Diplomats, Yin Yang Twins, Lil John, Too Short, Scarface, Kurupt, Tech N9ne, The Luniz, Floyd Mayweather, Suge Knight, Devin The Dude, Bishop Don Juan, Keak Da Sneak, Lil Flip, David Banner, Lisa Ray, Nelly, P. Diddy, and much more. United Ghettos of America Vol. 2 DVD will come with the soundtrack and the project is expected to drop around June/July of 2004 and will be nationally distributed. 1088000759 - January 1, 1970 By : I would like to Introduce you to a up and coming R&B artist (Unsigned) out of Southern California, "KROOK". Krook has been around for awhile on the underground circuit working with artist such as Kurupt, Roscoe, Bad Azz, 40 Glocc, Latin artist Capone', Nite Owl, Snapper, Kid Frost and many more.
But Krook has branched out on his own with a completed album, album cover and ready for press under his cousins Independent label Soulyric. I'm not going to hype him up, I'll let the music speak for it self. Krook's looking for a warm R&B label that's self contained, artist to work with, meaning writting, appearing on tracks and just networking with artist period. Most of you will ask the question "why isn't this cat out, his music is off the chain"!!, well Krook has been overlooked, but also things happen for a reason, and we hope that a label will have the ears and eyes to realize that. Krook has been spoke on in New York alot lately and he's getting radio spins in Syaracuse New York!!!! top mix show, that's a start but not enough!!!!!
I don't want you guys to read a book, so let me send you to krooks E.P.K. site for you to view, we're adding things daily so check back frequently. I hope you enjoy Krook, and the definition of Krook is "DON'T LEAVE YOUR LADY UNATTENDED" Think about it!!!!!!!!
Check out the site by clicking HERE.
There you can check out his bio and much more, and listen to three songs. You can download the three songs directly by clicking below too:

1089677637 - January 1, 1970 By : Goddaaaaaaaaaamn, what a show! Last night, at the Henry Fonda Theater, a live crowd witnessed the reunion of some of both coasts most notorious artists. Mobb Deep had their anticipated show with Sly Boogy opening up, but it turned out to be much more than just a Mobb Deep show.
Mobb Deep, Kurupt, Jayo Felony, 40 Glocc, Boo Yaa TRIBE, Eastwood, Dilated Peoples, Alchemist, Bushwick Bill, Tri-Star and many more, all on one stage???? Now that's some shit!
The Riflemen is official, oh boy, it is official! After Havoc & Prodigy performed a few of their hits including Shook Ones, they called the Riflemen along with everybody else on stage, and from then on, it was a party on stage. Everywhere you looked, a big name artist was rocking off. The Mob put down a hot show, and with Jayo's new invention, which brings the left half of the crowd to yell out "FUCK THAT SIDE" to the right half, the crowd was really and into it and rowdy.
Everything remained peaceful though, it was a hot ass show, and hopefully this is just the beginning of a flourishing relationship between Mobb Deep & Riflemen. After the West Coast left the stage, Mobb Deep closed it off with some more cuts including their current smash hit "Twisted".
DUBCNN was present for you, from back at the hotel before the show, to backstage, to on stage, to back at the hotel after the show. We have tons of pics, aswell as a 1hour+ film. The movie aint on the computer yet but for now you can check out some of the pictures below:

1092804862 - January 1, 1970 By : There have been rumours circulating about the "Freak-A-Leek" Star Petey Pablo being in talks with Death Row Records.
He recently recorded songs with Kurupt, Jayo Felony, 40 Glocc amongst others and has been seen representing Death Row.
There is no official word on this yet, but we will soon be conducting an interview with Petey and will hopefully clear this up for you.
In other news, it seems as if Kurupt's Againgst The Grain might suffer from another delay... there is no new date.
