This month he's dropping 2 monster Mixtapes. One is the Long awaited West Coast Mixtape Kings series.

Teaming up with his partner in crime DJ Strong and enlisting West Coast legends Julio G and Kam to host this Mixtape, which is loaded with nothing but exclusives and world premieres, by the way. On top of that it's dedicated to Justo, Mixtape Awards Founder; DJ Threat (R.I.P.), DJ Screw (R.I.P.), DJ Mixmaster Spade and other falled DJ's that are not around anymore. Their Legacy is here forever.

Not only are the freestyles and songs exclusive and/or world premiere's, there's Exclusive productions from DJ Warrior's producer J.Classic. news 1139450652 - January 1, 1970 By : Those of you who remember our interview with Jelly Roll from 2004 will remember him talking about an upcoming West Coast cat called Kartoon.

"And one of my cats that I fuck with, Kartoon homie, from the 909 homie, he got signed to Ruff Ryders. He's the first West Coast Ruff Ryder! Young Toon man. He's hot. That youngster right there homie, he's a monster!" - Jelly Roll

You heard him on the latest "Ruff Ryders Vol. 4" compilation, but the man is not simply relying on the Ruff Ryder buzz to blow him up.

That same Kartoon just finished his mixtape "1st Drive By", which features production by Jelly Roll amongst others. I have a couple preview tracks from the mixtape for ya'll to check out:

Kartoon -
So Hot
Kartoon - Endo Copper
Kartoon - You Ain't The Same
Kartoon - Dear Jimmy
Kartoon - Blatt

news 1153857755 - January 1, 1970 By : All these rappers keep saying that the West is through, they're like Eminem's group they ain't got no proof"

As Dubcnn exclusively reported a few weeks ago, the Inland Empire's finest MC's recorded a track to unify the whole I.E. Hip Hop scene. Milk of The SlepOnS and J. Brown begun a mission to bring together everyone on one track which is called "The Whole 9".

Well the song is finally here and ready to blow your speakers up! This monster track has most of the major players from the I.E. on it. Sly Boogy starts it off with a clean sounding verse, followed by Lunch, Diamonique, Dr. Stank, Dirty Birdy, Kartoon, The SlepOnS (Milk N Gus), Jeez A.k.A. J. Brown, R&B, Shorty Moe, Stico and Da Bandit, The Outskertz, Nick Dog, Roc Smith, ScarfizzI.E., WS Bugg, Irie Black, and even more (in no order).

This is one crazy line up, and so is the whole song itself. The song has no hook, just some raw spittin going on here with West Coast MC's showing their hunger. Every single rapper adds their own flavor to the track and they all rip it up. The main beat was laced by Fingazz who laid down a grimey beat. A few more producers like Dr. Stank, Jynxx, Twhy, and Seefor of the The Outskertz helped out on the production tip to showcase their skills. They come into action when the beat switches back and forth.

Chris Loos, Program Director from Wild 96, is hosting the track as well as the the compilation following the release of "The Whole 9".

Dubcnn has the song exclusively available for download. Click the link below:

news 1189523895 - January 1, 1970 By : Cast your mind back to almost two years ago when we first introduced you to Inland Empire representer, Bossolo. The aspiring artist was at that point releasing his latest album "My Bloc" which featured production from, amongst others, Fingazz and Young Tre who has produced for Westside Connection.

Bossolo has kept his prescence in the streets at the top of his agenda with his mixtapes and shows across the state. Today we are back with news of his latest solo album which was recently released entitled "Broken Glass Shattered" as well as an upcoming compilation to showcase his new label Bloc Hustle Muzic.

First up we have four tracks for download from "Broken Glass Shattered" which once again outlines Bossolo as a name that more need to take note of. Across the album he delivers hard-hitting lyrics with a confidence and tone that exudes charisma on the mic. Production is predominantly handled by up and coming beatsmith A-Clasik which provides a consistancy throughout, with other instrumentals from Fingaaz, Dove Mack and H Sparaza. All but one of the tracks to download below are solo cuts and will show you the spectrum of music available on this release.

Bossolo - Big Bosses
Bossolo - Guess Who's Back
Bossolo - Low Rydin' (Feat. Yuung Boy)
Bossolo - West Coast

Since the release of "Broken Glass Shattered" Bossolo has inked a deal for his major label debut album with Universal Records thanks to the buzz from this release. "Bloc Hustlin" has been given the release date of January 8 2008 via Thump/Universal/BlocHustleMuzic.

With that in mind Bossolo has wasted no time in preparing a mixtape to help build his new labels status. With the Inland Empire already home to artists including Sly Boogy, Homeless Nation, Fingazz, Bigg North, Kartoon, Raje and many more he intends to give Bloc Hustle Muzic a platform on "Bloc Hustle Muzic Volume 1."

With vocals from artists including Yunng Boy, Moss Maja, Caine of Mischivious Poets, Ag Cabano, Mac Man, Al Fila and John Izie over production from up and comer A-Clasik alongside established names including Fingazz and Young Tre, Bossolo aims to raise the label profile with its release on September 25th. The cover for the mixtape can be seen here.

The Thump/Universal/BlocHustleMuzic imprint has also taken GCodeRecords under its wing to re-release the Young Trey mixtape "W.E.S.T Radio Volume 1" that came out last year, that can be seen on the Dubcnn Download Page.

The release is now scheduled for release on November 20th 2007 and includes tracks featuring Mack 10, Bossolo, Young Hoggs, Big Foot, Comrads, Snoop Dogg, The Game and WC

Stay tuned for more news and media from Bossolo and the Universal/BlocHustleMuzic imprint over the coming months, until then enjoy the new music and drop your thoughts for Bossolo over at our Forum Community.

news 1208465274 - January 1, 1970 By : DJ Strong has asked us to release a statement in response to recent words from 40 Glocc regarding their "Outspoken Vol. 3" mixtape. Check it out below.

"As unapologetic as I am in this situation, I feel bad because somebody is insinuating that I didn't do my job. Trust that I wouldn't be where I am if I didnt stay on my grind. I have taken loses on projects just for the love of them...I love this business. This is my heart and soul...so all I can say to any negativity directed towards me is God bless and keep it moving. My focus is on making hip-hop a viable product again and staying true to my West Coast roots.
Peace and respect, DJ Strong."

Strong will address this issue in further detail during his "Palm Trees & Gangstas" radio show on Sirius tomorrow night at 11PM PST. We will have the podcast available for you this weekend, along with a variety of DJ Strong mixtapes for free download. "I want to give away some of my mixtapes for free for 30 days to let people revisit all of the work I have done for the West Coast and being one of the founders of building the current mixtape game on the West Coast since 2000 and beyond."

news 1214007083 - January 1, 1970 By : Everybody was waiting for it ever since Young Buck announced his departure from G-Unit: Young Buck and The Game reconnecting and uniting. It looks like the predictions were correct, because after the drama around the leaked phone conversation between 50 Cent and Young Buck and Young Buck's response track, The Game has released his own remix of the song where he takes Buck's side and attacks 50 Cent and the rest of G-Unit. It's only a matter of time before we hear Buck and Game on the same song. Naturally this is the talk of the internet right now! After repeatedly stating that there would be no more G-Unit disses, it looks like Buck's fate has made Game go at it again.

We have the "Taped Conversation" remix right here for you to check out:

The Game -
The Taped Conversation (Remix) (G-Unit Diss)

At the same time, G-Unit rapper Spider Loc has released a track called "Lean On Me", where he takes shots at Young Buck. Also featured on the track is West Coast Ruff Ryder Kartoon, check it out below:

Spider Loc - Lean On Me (ft. Kartoon)
