I am in college, and I am one of the types of people who likes goin to the club, long as its tite. But yeah, a lot of songs, especially Tipsy, sound dope as hell at a club. It is a lot of songs I like, but I wouldn't want to hear them at a club. I think a lot of people, especially those on the internet, are "brainwashed" and don't realize all music serves different purposes. Back in the 70s, do you think people really gave a fuck about the lyrical content when it came to disco and funk? Songs from my favorite old school artists such as George Clinton weren't sayin shit at all in their songs, and who cares?? Many people are too concerned about shit that doesn't mean anything when you are dancin with a female. Crooked I is one of my favorite artists, but in a club, I could care less if it's him or Nelly, whoever makes the females dance the most and repeat the most lines in the song is who I want to hear.
I ain't sayin that I wanna hear some great lyrics in the club. Lil jon is just annoying to me. nelly is annoying to me. ja rule is annoying. bonecrusher is annoying. There is lots of dope westcoast albums and songs that should be played in the club and is way better than most of the shit they play.Examples:Mac Dre's latest album Al-boo-boo has plenty of songs on it that would fit the club perfectly. I'm sure most no one on here has heard it tho.Roscoe's same as above. tons of club songs. As sad as it sounds, WSC album terrorist threats has quite a few club songs.yukmouth with godzilla had lots of club bangers.Hi-C, with Don't Wanna Know f/ Nate Dogg - Damn this is one of the hottest bangerz out their for the clubs or the radio, but it doesn't get any play.Dj Quik's Trouble and Put it on me. I mean c'mon these 2 songs are 100x better than any of that bullshit played in clubs by all those artists I listed as annoying. Bad Azz Personal Business had some club bangerz and radio hitz, I never heard them once.I could name shit for days, but I think I have gotten my point across. The west makes tons of songs that would be the shit in the clubs, shittin on all the crap they play these days.
The reason its sounds better is cuz you are DRUNK as a mothafucka by then! Everbody in tha club is in a good mood, peeps get hyped so that feelin gets stuck on you too...Thats my excuse atleast for listening too wack muzik hahahaha PeaceLazyL

True, certain songs are made for clubs. Dr. Dre's Next Episode sounds great in the club, in my car it just sounds aight. Dre has a knack for making club bangers period. Lil Jon's shit was definitely made for the clubs. That Usher song is a great example of that. In the club everyone loses their mind when they hear it but in the car, it just sounds so-so. DMX, Jay-Z, Ludacris, Nelly, etc, all that shit sounds way better in the club than anywhere else.IMO, west coast music is made for the cars and is mostly laid back, primarily while that south shit just gets people going nuts. Master P's Make em Say Uggh, Ludacris's Move Bitch, JT Money's Who Dat, definite club songs. Outkast's Rosa Parks, I like The Way You Move, club songs.
