Royce wanted Em to sign him to Shady.. Em said he couldnt, he didnt have time for anymore acts on his roster etc.. 2 weeks later they announced the cosigning of 50cent to shady & aftermath. Royce felt Em owed it to him to tell him that rather than sayin what he said..

this was all a build up, since Royce used to be his hype man 'til Proof & D12 got signed etc..
