I figured i would start a new thread on this subject, seeing as how this is an experiment....but it should work (im in the US so i can't test it myself) 8)
Seeing as how AOL prevents european users from watching this (gay), I figured if you guys could use a proxy server to get around the screen. When you use a proxy server, you are basically re-routing all of your internet connections through another server based in another location. So in turn, if you used a proxy server that was based in the US, it would appear to AOL that you were in the US, therefore allowing the video to play. Technically this should work, but i have no guarantees. Here's some instructions on how to git r done. This might seem a little overwhelming, but its not that hard.
Windows:
Step 1
(http://ca.huji.ac.il/services/internet/web/images/iepc1.gif)
Load Internet Explorer.
Go to Tools
Click Preferences...
Step 2
(http://ca.huji.ac.il/services/internet/web/images/iepc2.gif)
Click the tab: Connections, select your active connection to the net.
Click the button: LAN Settings...
Step 3
(http://ca.huji.ac.il/services/internet/web/images/iepc5.gif)
Mark the option: Use a proxy server for this connection
Mark the option: Bypass proxy server for local addresses
Step 4

Here's a list of proxy servers i stumbled upon. If one doesn't work, try another. Just plug the numbers in where it says address and port.
64.31.103.229:3128
205.247.251.85:80
12.167.160.253:3128
169.229.50.5:3128
160.36.57.173:3124
Click OK in all windows.
Macintosh
Step 1
Go to your System Preferences, and select "Network"
Step 2
Select your active connection, and click the "Proxies" tab.
Step 3
(http://www.netfaqs.com/macintosh/Browsers/OSX/Safari/TabProxies.gif)
Check the box "Web Proxies" and enter one of the proxy server addresses from above.
Step 4
Click "Apply Now"
and fuckin a, lickedy split...you are now connected to a proxy server!
Technically, this will allow you to watch any videos that you previously couldn't because of country restrictions. Here's the link for the DJ Quik concert once again: http://music.aol.com/network_live/concert_videos/dj_quik/ondemand
Once again, no guarantees, but i'm sure with your guys' help we can get this workin. The european homies shouldn't be missin out on the exclusives! If you guys need help just reply.
Peace

You get a prop for helping out us Europeans :) Quik's concert footage should indeed be for ALL of his fans, not just for those who live in the States.

Props man, thanks a bunch. I'm having a few hiccups here and there, but what can one expect - I'm doing quite a loop with the proxy enabled. A damn fine show though, damn fine. That's how it's supposed to be done, right there.
