T.I. is way better then Buck lyrically, but i like Buckīs music more though. both T.I. and Buckīs subject matter is hella limited and watered down(thatīs why Scarface is the KING). donīt think iīll ever hear anything original coming from either one of them.

Scarface, Ludacris, Big Boi, Andre 3000 are the best from the south. Funny thing is that you never hear those people claim being King of the South, while rappers like T.I., Lil' Flip, Cham etc. who are not as good claim they are the king. SAD SAD SAD.

To continue what I was saying earlier, Young Buck has had one good album then sold pretty well. He's on the right track if he wants to dethrone T.I. But as of today T.I. has dropped 2 banger albums and is out selling a lot of these Southern cats. He has a 3rd album on the way which could seal it for T.I. for a couple years. We have to wait a see what Buck does on his next album. Kain, I didn't know you liked anyone other then Dipset and Enya. Shocking.

Trap Muzik is certified platinum but hasnīt sold over 1 million, UB just barely sold over 1 million so itīs not like T.Iīs a superstar or anything. that could change with his new album but i havenīt heard it so dunno if itīs good or bad. hopefully itīs better then UB coz that was a huge step backwards from Trap Muzik.

Yeah your right, but of course UB was a step back from Trap Muzik. It's hard to top a classic, but UB was still a very good album. His new single is gettng a lot of spin so we'll see what happens. But Buck dosen't hold a candle to T.I.'s fire IMO.

Yeah, Outkast said "crunk" on Player's Ball, which came out in the fall of '93. Outkast and Scarface are the "kings" of the south, as far as I'm concerned.

Game claims to be the King of the west, and I've heard several NY artists including Fat Joe to claim they were the King of NY. It's somethin I don't take too serious anymore.

If an artist says he's king of the south I don't take it too seriously either. But when you are argueing who actually is the king of the south that's a different story. I'm just defending T.I. over Buck. I don't feel either of them are (sorry if I said that, I was getting a little carried away). Make no mistake about it, T.I. doesn't suck in fact I'm a fan of T.I. I loved Urban Legend and I'm loving King but I don't think he's the king of the south. Man u gotta do more than what he's done in his career to be called that. Outkast have put out 5 great albums and won a grammy for album of the year a couple years ago. Scarface has been doin it forever and has put out some bangin records. So he still has a long way to go to be the "KING" of the south.

I'm not a big fan of T.I., however that has nothing to do with why I don't endorse him for King of the South. It's always been my understanding that the fans have to crown you. You can't just wake up one day and decide that you're gonna start referring to yourself as the best rapper from you're region, it doesn't work that way. I think Scarface always has been the King of the South.
