Title: how do you prevent ring wear on vinyl covers.

how do you prevent ring wear on vinyl covers? like the circular imprint that shows up after awhile when the record is in the sleeve. I want to preserve my covers in good shape as well. is there a way to do it? or just to store the vinyl in its own separate cover.

I have some older vinyl that has a seperate cardboard sleeve for the actual vinyl.  Being that it's cardboard rather than paper or plastic, it seems to prevent that.  Also, store the records vertically so there's no pressure on them.
