nah, not really. i saw the malcolm x movie just recently, and it was definately different than the book. for example, the guy in jail that supposedly converted malcolm, didn't really happen in real life. there was a man that was very knowledgeable, but malcolm was introduced to islam by his brother during jail.

if you have the time, it's definately an incredible read. you really learn a lot from the book about malcolm's childhood (from his father being murdered by white's, hustlin on the streets of harlem, chillin wit prostitutes, fuckin around with a white chick, goin to jail, reading about 15 hours a day, gaining crazy knowledge from books, joining the NOI, preaching for the NOI, building the NOI, then getting fucked over by the NOI, his trip to the holy land and various african countries, and his realization of true islam, and how to fix america's racial problems. then the epilogue by alex haley is also incredible, you really see how it was like to chill wit malcolm.

surely one needs to let go of the anger quickly; but you do benefit to the one that has wronged by administering an immediate equitable amount of retribution. this helps prevents the transgressor from developing a mindset that their selfish actions will go unpunished; thus helping prevent them from engaging in even worse actions.
there is a balance there somewhere.

I had teary eyes when I first beat the game and saw this ending... the music is incredibly touching, tho it has such a easy pattern due to the limited technical possibilities at that time.

A son inherits more because he's expected to support "his" family with it (wife + kids)... a daughter's inheritence benefits her and only her... in addition, when the father in a household dies, it is the sons who become the heads, and what they inherit will then also be used to support the family, including the daughters who have already inherited their share which they get to keep for themselves.
