he was a pretty dope rapper.  He coulda made a decent album with some quik, hutch, and daz production.  too bad he just fucked around and didn't do shit.

oh, so I guess rappers are now telling the truth in interviews?

He put out some kind of album/mixtape and 90% of it was old recycled tracks, most likely because that is all that he recorded.

Well I'm not 100% sure ofcourse whether he's telling the truth or not but most artists that got signed to D.R. over the years have recorded countless songs with nothing being (officially) released so it's possible...

I don't think he himself had anything to do with that album you're referring to, and there are a couple of more tracks by him circulating that were not on that Every Dog Has His Day CD...
