yeah because you work at interscope, kaynes late reg needed 2.5mil to break even, and that album was musically good, where the massacre was just 50 and different beats, little studio time compared to kaynes album, probably took less time

I dont like 50, but to say going platinum in the first week and 5x plat overall is pathetic is ridiculous. How is Cam and Dipset on top if they havent done anything close to that yet? 50 is smart. i agree that dipset will only get bigger and g-unit will only get smaller, and quickly, but as of right now, people are still learning towards g-unit more than dipset... although it shouldnt be too much longer now... i say the new banks and buck will be the only albums to sell decent... g-unit (aside from 50, possibly) is done after that... they had 1 hell of a run though

Yes cam is less popular then banks. You hear banks on the radio more in ny then you do cam. You hear more people in ny in the streets talking about banks as compared to cam. The only one in the dipset that has a buzz anywhere near banks or 50 is juelz and his buzz is not near banks. And juelz doesnt have much of a buzz right now. His album dropped months ago. he had buzz then, and im not going to front he had a nice buzz too. But everyone always talks about 50 like he sold out after his "Power of the Dollar" days when he signed with Shady/Aftermath and went from street to commercial. Cats seem to be forgtten that his first single off that album was a joint with Destiny's Child.

And in order to prove that he can STILL bring the heat straight to the street he did Hate it or Love it. He was on some top notch lyrical shit there.
I mean, I get it. Some people really see music just as music. But, SOME ARTISTS DON'T. People, try to see it as work, as something a nigga does for a living. In order to get paid, you gotta hustle. You gotta be on some real shit. AFTER you're ON THE FUCKING TOP, you get WAY more money, for WAY less work. Ain't that the truth? We all know it is.
