Title: DJ Webstar & Young B Sought As Witnesses
Post by: Damien J. on November 01, 2006, 05:28:34 AM: DJ Webstar and his protégé, Young B, who created the “Chicken Noodle Soup” dance craze were being sought as possible witnesses in a shooting that left a 13-year-old Harlem teen in critical condition. Sunday night, the duo was reportedly at a party in the community center at New York City’s Lehman Village Housing projects. Thirteen-year-old Mozena Jones was hit by a stray bullet as the event dispersed. A witness told authorities that minutes before the shooting, Young B was teasing bystanders as she left, calling their jackets “dirty” and “old.” An argument ensued, but authorities have yet to determine if that’s what led to the gunfire. Kirk Burrowes, the duo’s manager, told The New York Daily News that neither Webstar nor Young B were in attendance at the party.
