whats up all you muthaf**kas in cyberhood! this is Quik. I just watched the taping of the show and i have to say that there were some interesting moments at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta. Not to give away the show, just know that Live.....T.I. showed up to blow up. As for The Game, he certainly would've put your children to sleep without a problem. Jigga-man was there...as was Flavor Flav & DELICIOUS! (yea, she can get it!) im sure its gonna come across good on cable. the people in ATL certainly know how to act and enjoy themselves. THATS WHY THEY RUN THE RAP INDUSTRY! (yeah, quik said that!) Even NY is making a comeback! Wendy Willams bagged on me, which means im gonna be big again. .....cant wait til LA matters again in the music industry. i had a good time with my boys the Yin Yang Twins. keyshia cole had on her ''high blood pressure'' jeans (tight as the skin on a sausage link) and Jezzy made it rain.......! yeah, i fuckin' love this business. WALK IT OUT YALL! peace the f**k out.

also: i think that by me telling the truth about The Game's performance tonight, i just made a bunch of gangbangers in Compton real angry. 1st off im a Man...2nd...! im entitled to my opinion.
And, its no secret that Game's LIVE performances suffer a little. big deal. im from an era where we learned how to rock the crowd off top. So, to my friends.....dont take what i say personally.
im not venting, im just expressing myself as well as ive been taught to by my teachers in the schools of Compton, Ca. i cant help it if some of you (WHOM IT MAY CONCERN) havent evolved beyond primitive unfounded anger and outbursts...! (my collar has been popped!) So, with that said.....avoid negativity at ALL costs. Jails and graves are full of people who people who would still be here had they learned to EXPRESS THEMSELVES !!!!!!

quik wasnt his OFFICIAL dj so theyre aint no beef.quik jus givin some opinions cus quik can put a show.the first time i seen him live was when mausberg was just coming up.quik put on a hella of fuckin hot ass show,musberg was o.k that night but his flow was tight.i hope he workin on a album instead of writing blogs on his myspace :'(

i can feel what he's sayin about game though. honestly, the majority of live rap performances suck ass, based on the fact that the rappers yell and scream into the mic and have their whole god damn posse yelling along with them every other bar. quik has an appreciation for the music, and puts on a HELL of a live performance (as we have all seen from house of blues). other rappers just try to yell their shit out...it's annoying.

DJ Quik is my favorite artist but he's loosing his mind, he must be on some drugs.

Quik actually didn't seem too bad here, but he does talk a lot of shit. I respect the man as an artist, and I hope he gets his head together, but that seems less likely to happen every day.

In my opinion the only rapper that had a great performance at the BET awards was Snoop. Every other rapper was screaming and yelling into the mic. When Snoop performed it was smooth and u could actually hear what he's saying........
As for Quik, didn't he say he was supposed to produce a track for the DA?

I mean, if you really thought Game's performance was hot, cool. But Junior Reed is the only one who really had a presence on that stage. Busta said the same thing, just didn't put Game's name into it. It's the truth.

There shouldn't be any beef between Game and Quik. DJ Quik grew up less then a mile away from Brazil and Wilmington, they both are Compton Pirus, it should be all love. DJ Quik even gave a shout out to Cedar Block in one of his songs.

If I were Game, I'd ask Quik how to improve my live show. I never seen a live Game performance, so I can't give an opinion, but I trust Quik when he says a live performance wasn't good.
Snoop always comes off good live though. No surprise he did it again.

Quik is one of a small handful of artists that does good live shows (Roots, Outkast, Common, Alkaholiks). Most rappers live shows suck period point blank. Rappers need to be called out on their live shows, after Rakim said to emcee is to move the crowd. I've seen video tapes of 80's era Public Enemy and Boogie Down Productions shows and they bring chills up my spine, just watching it on tape! That's what a live show is supposed to be. Most rappers have forgotten that.

Hip Hop shows in general aren't that good...It's usually just the artist, 1 or 2 hypemen, 6 or 7 of his "homies" and maybe they squeeze in a Dj (sometimes)....They pretty much just recite the lyrics to the song and move from one side of the stage to next...I doubt Quik was trying to start anything by simply saying that Games performance succ'd...It's just an opinion and it was on his blog...I think it's better when a artist can play with a good live band anyway..Snoop pulled it off nicely

quik throws on one of the best live performances.you gotta really be at one to feel the energy he puts into it.quiks shows are one of the best if not the shows ive been to.im always checkn for any quik shows plus theres always alot of hella fine females at his shows.yeah i agree,game should take some pointers on live shows from quik.has anybody seen how he gets down,down,down on stage,that shits crazy.doubt game would do any of what quik does but still dont think its a diss toward game.
quik is one of westcoast o.g's that has really put in alot of work for westcoast music,so he shuold get mad respesct!

It's true, when I saw Game live, he was weak. He just had a bunch of muthafuckas crowding him while he sounded real boring. I didn't see the BET performance, but I can't imagine its much different.
He can take some notes from Quik, who knows how to rock a crowd.

Like he said on the wake-up show a few years ago when he spoke on Suge, he's a O.G. from Compton and can express his opinions whenever the fuck he wants. Game aint even trippin off this, its just some of the groupies who feel they are part of Game's camp and get all butt-hurt about it. You aint Game, you dont know Game, and you sure as hell dont roll with him so stop acting like it. Big-ups to all the people who have some sense and dismissed this for what it is---A BLOG.

I don't know what you talking about seriously. Why would a rapper need to ask how to perform? Either the rapper can rock the crowd or don't. It's naturally done.

Anyway I agree with what Quik was saying...I don't see how he was starting beef with game. I hope Quik keeps his head and continue making great music. I look forward to his next post.
BTW, Quik hitted the nail on the head IMO when he talked about Game's primitive, unfounded anger and outbursts...I am a fan of Game's music but dude is unstable...
