so i woke up today looked out on my back porch and saw one of my dogs stumbling around, i took him inside and took a video of him walking and emailed it to my sister and my dad.

i then take him to the vet at 1;00 to see whats up and they say hes gonna need some nerve suplments and some therapy. at about 1;30 i get back hme and bring him out on the pool deck to watch me tke leaves outta the pool. at around 3;30 his back legs gave out and his tail stopped waggin. now he cant walk on his rear legs. hes still alive though

same thing happenned to mine, he fell in a lil coma then he couldn't walk. He probably made an acv, the animal doctor gave him letal injection, i burried him in my backyard and cried like a baby

damn my dog only has about a month before his are totally shot. he wimpers trying to stand up sometimes. i havent cried since about 12 or 13 but i'm a be so fuckin sad when he goes

damn dude.. good luck with ya dog..
mine did this in the summer 1 day.. i managed to get her up and she walked about stiff.. the following day nothing would move her.. and i had to put her down

yeah sucks seein animals in pain..
my dog had a stroke and walked sideways like a crab for a while, plus she had a fucked toe and limped around too... we think someone may have booted her when we went away for the weekend, or maybe poisoned her... such a loyal dog, one night her toe fell off, i was at work and my sister got her put down :(

Damn, feels bad to hear these things....but man, that's life, fucked up usually....my dog once had this weird thing with his eyes, first he looked crooked and lil bit later his eyes just went up, like he couldn't see shit and he was just standing and laying still, I don't know how to explain it in english... but that was creepy, after a hour or two his eyes went normal again...

Yeah man, sorry about that earlier post lol. It wasn't me, it was the insensitive drunk asshole that took over my body. I know how it is to see a dog you care about get sick and have problems, its nothing to make jokes about.

my family had a rottweiler which was 13 when it died, while i lived with them, it ended up getting cancer when it was like 11 or something, but my parents didnt want to get him put down so they got him some sort of animal pain killers, he had cancer, arthritis, his back legs were fucked (still able to walk), til one day he just gave up, i cried like a baby too when he died, but this shit happens. i have 2 cats now, ima be sad as fuck when they eventually go

its cool, good to see you made it home safely. and, it does suck. and its gonna suck when this one dies and its gonna suck when the other 2 go

Nothing in g-spot seems funny after reading this thread. I got a dog, and i didnt even like it when she got "fixed", can stand the thought of my dog in pain. Il cry like a little girl when she goes.

I got a 2 year old dog and he's about a little smaller than medium sized, figuring he'll live about 11-13 years if lucky
it sucks to think one day he'll go, but the good thing for me is that I'll be in my 30's and won't see him in pain as much as my parents
it'll be sad though still, all the memories will come back :'(
the important thing to think about though is that your dog died of old age if so
he had a home and other dogs to play with and he was never fucked up in some sort of way or mistreated (I hope)
it's hard to acknowlege the dog is gone, but I've always imagined that the next dog you get you'll see your old dog when ya look at him
gotta look at it in a positive way or else there's no point in having a dog
kinda gay but they do teach you some things and make you look at life differently in a weird way

I remember when my two dogs died ummm 4 years ago, it was so fucked up that they had to die in the same year....after that I didn't even want a dog, my mum wanted a new one for herself but I was against it all the time, sounds kinda stupid but I just couldn't imagine having a new dog when u have lived with two precious dogs your whole childhood....our "new" dog just had his birthday, he is two now, and sometimes when I look at him , I realise that I don't really remember anymore that what my dogs looked like, and that's why u should take a lot of pictures but I didn't or I can't find most of them, and that makes me sad ....and bitter I guess...
