Say It To My Face is an anthem 8)
Ansd about Dre, Hold On is really dope, sort of a mixture between that jazzy sound and gangsta sound, the other 2 are weak and have that uninspired 06 Dre sound(minus Big Bang).

this is how i approach it. i listen to the cd 1 time, rank the songs (i only rank songs i think are 4-5/5). and then after im done 1 listen, i group the "4-5" songs and the "1-3" songs and listen to them, and see if i change my mind :)

im finishin track 11 on the buck, so things can still change, but yea game's production was better. but thats not a fair comparison, i think game's production was the best of the entire year. Looks like this buck album blows the last 4 gunit releases out the water tho. i'm feeling the southern sounding tracks. i don't know why every1s hating on the dre tracks (so far). Slow Ya Roll is wack as fuck, but hold on & u ain't going nowhere are DOPE.

I don't think he was hating. I have been on this forum for a while and they do not condone it that's all. They did a 2 part interview with Buck and 50 Cent and it gives the perception that Dubcnn promotes bootlegging because it is on their forum. OFTB you probably have not heard anything because they are selling a copied, burned album with no cd cover art on it for 30 dollars. No one is going to pay that.

Pretty good album, on the high end of the G-Unit quality scale, but still not great. Buck definitely came out hard as he could on this one, but I just don't see it helping to re-establish G-Unit in the mainstream, not in this day and age when hip-hop sales are down so much.

soc>buck the world....but this is a step forward.....now about this album......i think buck kills some joints and others he comes hella wack.....same with the beats, some are hella nice and others are wack...and the vibe is hella inconsistant....in todays world, having many different producers does not mean it will disturb the vibe of the album, because it is how it is now, but they gotta have a similar vibe/sound, or they gotta flow together one joint to the other, that is where this album lacks in comparison to straight outta cashville.....HOWEVER.....this is moving forward, i think these niggaz realise they need to make changes, there is no yayo and buck on this, which is welcomed....there is a fresher sound than the recent shit....after washed up albums (blood money) and wack albums(yayo and banks)....this is a step forward...still major room for improvement but this will go down as having more positives than negatives for gunit quality albums...no matter how the album does....
right now imma give this a 3.5/5.....after a few quick scans and one full listen.....maybe later when i cheked it a few more times, this may get better or worse but right now, this is what i give the album....
anyways....while there is no doubt, the vibe and overall to me SOC is better....but if we have to wait 3 years again for another buck album....hardly any rapper is worth waiting 9 years for 3 albums....
but yeah.....its a step forward rather than another one backwards
