Title: how do you hook up a keyboard to the computer to use with Reason, FL etc.

can you musicians/producers give me step by step directions on what to do so i get this right quick? this is all i need to make some sick ass shit  8)

i posted this in here just in case the thread i made in the lab doesn't get many replies

I could be wrong since I don't produce but you might need Pro Tools

all you need is some hardware if it isnt already usb compatible. like an m box or something of that nature
