Title: What Hip Hop lines where told to you as a kid?
Post by: QuietTruth on May 01, 2007, 05:46:33 PM: Has anybody, parents or whoever, ever used to quote any Hip Hop songs so they became a house hold sayin' for some shit....for example, follow me...

My stepfather, whenever we'd cry about something when we were younger he'd always say:
'Don't cry, dry your eye, here come's your mother with those two lil guys'
From Slick Rick and Doug E.

Or whenever we'd hear the police or see them or just in general talk about them, he'd say:
'Whoop Whoop, that's the sound of da police'
From KRS One

That's all I remember for now, LMFAO, just curious to see if ya'll peoples did that to ya'll too, please share. ;D
