Title: Who are you supporting in the primaries, each party
Post by: M Dogg™ on May 10, 2007, 10:06:07 PM
I was thinking, each candidate is different, yet simular. Because of the limited varity in bills, mainly Democrats like Hilary Clinton and Barack Obama have almost identical voting records, yet they have different views on topics like Iraq and the Environment. Politicans like Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich have college students excited, Mitch Rommy looks like the only true conservate, and Mike Gravel for some strange reason is the only person I honestly can stomach hearing. As for John McCain and Joe Biden, they are losers waiting to happen, as both have that John Kerry, Bob Dole feeling, they are good to their party, and in any other year would get the nomination just for their loyality, but this year doesn't seem like that election.

So the bottom line, pick a candidate from each party, so you have to pick one Democrat and one Republican, and give a reason why you want to vote for them.

Here's a list of the offical candidates:

Republican:
Sam Brownback - Senator, Kansas
John Cox - Investor, Illinois
Jim Gilmore - former Governor, Virginia
Rudy Giuliani - former Mayor, New York
Mike Huckabee - former Governor, Arkansas
Duncan Hunter - U.S. Representative, California (I.E.)
John McCain - Senator, Arizona
Ron Paul, M.D. - U.S. Representative, Texas
Mitt Romney - former Governor, Massachusetts
Tom Tancredo - U.S. Representative, Colorado
Tommy Thompson - former Governor, Wisconsin

Democrats:
Joe Biden - Senator, Delaware
Hillary Clinton - Senator, New York
Christopher Dodd - Senator, Connecticut
John Edwards - former Senator, North Carolina
Mike Gravel - former Senator, Alaska
Dennis Kucinich - U.S. Representative, Ohio
Barack Obama - Senator, Illinois
Bill Richardson - Governor, New Mexico
