Million if its a LP
Half a mil if its a single

U can go platinum in different countries. For example. you're Ricky Martin and in USA you're actually a nobody. But in Russia u still sell a million, so you're platinum in Russia. ;)

A double album has to sell 500,000 to go platinum...Life After Death and All eyez on me only sold 5 million copies but are 10x Plat...I never understod that shit...I don't give a fuk if the CD cost $50 only 5 million people own that shit....

What is there not to understand?? Of course they count as two, cuz less people buy double cd's, cuz of the high price.

I always thought it counted as 2 because when you buy it, you buy 2 CD's..But I may be wrong ???
