By the way I looked it up, there are NONE in the bay area. The closest one is in Tracy, which is like 80-90 miles away. Fucking idiots.

The west coast doesn't have White Castle and Hardees...We have Carls Jr. though, which is supposed to be pretty much the west coast equivalent of Hardees. Sonics must just be a broke franchise...That's why it's so weird that they have all these popular commercials that air everywhere, all the time. The money must be coming from somewhere...PeACe

Btw, Im pretty sure Sonic is more of a South thing. It started in Texas and theres TONS of em throughout the South. Its like Jacks for us.

yeah vegas does, I was so pissed. me and a friend went to the one across the street from the palms on foot and since we didn't have a car with us they didn't let us order. it was only drive thru after 1 or 2 am or some such bullshit. i was pissed.

We just knocked on the window to order. The speaker only works if there is a large amount of metal like a car or a bike next to it. I think we only had to pay 10 cents for the buns and it was in the middle of the lunch rush too so they were all pissed off at us.

My buddy and I tried doing that a few months back; it was about 1:30 a.m. and we decided that we had to have some Jack in the Box tacos. We were pretty smashed, so neither of us could drive, luckily there is a Jack in the Box about a mile away. We made the trek over there, and as we walked up to the window the dude with the headset, and the manager shirt started yelling at the other two people working. They all looked at us with the deer in the headlights look and ran to this room in the back corner by the grill. We sat there laughing for about 5 minutes because they were hiding in a panic room. Douches.
The only time that I went to Sonic was in Colorado, they are a dime a dozen in the Springs. I have seen their commercials for years out here in southern California, but I had never seen an actual location until I was in Colorado.

But trust me, you wouldn't want to go to White Castle that often. The burgers are called slyders for a reason. Pepto Bismol doesn't even work. The chicken rings and fries are great though. And they make breakfast with real eggs. Not like that mix every other place uses.

The summertime here rivals a lot of other states like Florida with the abundance of trees and the lakes, but if you aren't from here and it's winter, all I can do is wish you luck. :P ;D
You can't go wrong with $.40 burgers, even if you pay for it the next morning. The onions probably play a part in that. They actually cook the burgers right on top of the onions, so they soak up a lot of the fat. But I can tell you in all honesty that nothing beats White Castle after a few drinks at the bar.
Chicken rings are the greatest. It's all about the breading.

Fatburger is off tha chain. In n Out is good too. Prolly the best burgers outta any of the fast food places out here.
