Title: Forest Whitaker To Play Biggie Smalls In New Movie

By now, you've probably heard a new film chronicling the life of rapper Biggie Smalls is set for production. And according to our sources, they're looking at a big budget actor to play the Brooklyn-born rapper.

An insider over at the film company told MediaTakeOut.com that they've been in "serious talks" with actor Forest Whitaker to play the role of Biggie Smalls.

But the deal isn't signed yet - and producers aren't taking any chances. So they've set up an open casting call on the web. Anyone interested in playing that part of Biggie can submit an audition video to the website www.foxsearchlight.com/notorious.

Somehow we think that the producers would be better of using Forest, than some look-alike from off the web. Just a hunch...

The studio has already said his age is too much of an issue, hence the open casting...

I guess this is another cookie cutter movie that I will avoid; what happened to the creativity of Hollywood?  They should just toss some make-up on Guerilla Black, he already has Biggie's style down.
