Jam - Soul Search'n
http://www.zshare.net/audio/3187916a61d441/
Jam aka Jam Dot is an MC from Queens, this track was released in 1995 on 12" single (Jam - Soul Search'n' / Like This (http://www.discogs.com/release/980995)), from what I know the only tracks he has released other than this 12" was a few tracks on a project called "Survival Series" and later he released Soul Search'n Remix.. This track is the only one I heard by him though..
I'ts a really really dope track. It got a nice jazzy beat (by Jam himself) and he drops some dope lyrics and got a great flow, I love the sample used in the chorus, really gives it a special feeling. Its easy to hear its an east coast track, it got that kinda east coast rugged vibe! But at the same time it got its own style.
Personally I don't think I'm pretty good at reviewing music in text, but I hope you will check this dope track out and make you own opinion on it.
This is the first part of a serie of posts that I'm gonna call "You gotta check this dope track out!"

Well thank you very much, I appreciate that :)
There are more people than me on this board appreciating the real hiphop though, gotta give shout outs to people like Jrome, Beatz, Bramsterdam and yourself :) Of course there are more, but I suck at remembering them all :P

I remember hearing this back in the day and haven't heard it since. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.
When I think of East Coast hip hop this would fit well into that category. I'm diggin' it (again).

Props Oklin, dope track indeed..
