I agree with what Busta is saying. I heard an interview with Bun B on Dubcnn and he basically said the same thing. Computers, Internet and mp3 basically fucked up the game FOR THEM But to souljah boy, Hurricane criss,  D4L, papoose, saigon, Mims, e.t.c thats the best thing that could happen to them and can you really be mad at the opportunity this technology is given to those who cant afford the big label situations? Its a two way case because whatever the argument is about, once the music becomes corporate, then the powers lay strictly in the hands of the advertisers.

I heard the best quote from Philip Bailey of Earth Wind and Fire "you have to grow with your core fans" its hard to please these young knuckle heads. The best way is to keep touring, touring and touring for your core fans. Simple as that. Dont expect anything to change for you unless you are young. This game is for young people really.

everything that was said in that video is true from busta.. everything... the internet has destroyed the amount of money out there for artists it totally ruined the game. i use to hear about how the internet would promote your shit and you get to hear an album before it releases thats all BULL SHIT. you download an album and that shit is bangin' your gonna keep it add it onto your ipod player and bang it all month. how many people out there are still going to go to the store spend 14$ on a cd when they have the shit already, for what the artwork?

Very very few>>

d4l , mim's all those ring tone rappers the game has become so watered down

^ thats why record labels need to switch up their product. you can't come with the same product for the past 20 years and expect people to keep buying it. you can download the cd for free, or you can buy the cd for $14, any smart person knows what they're gonna do. so record labels should be seeing this and thinking "what can we do to make it more worthwhile?", throw in bonus dvds, maybe a tshirt or whatever, get the people back in the store to buy the damn album
