His plan was never to enforce his policies. His plan is to enforce democracy. He has a platform and if his platform wins and the American people want it then the next time the Senate elections come up every candidate that wants in will run on that platform. Ron Paul never said he was going to walk in and force his beliefs on America. His goal is to convince the American people through conngress to choose the new and better America. He doesn't believe in Kings.

He never said he'd legalize it. He said he'd cut funding on a federal level to attack drugs. It would be a state issue in a Paul government. If Alabama says it's illegal then they'll have their state place deal with it. If Vermont says it's not then they won't have anyone deal with it. Ron Paul has no desire to tell any state how to deal with drugs.

his purpose was to raise awareness and for that hes done a damn good job
