Today is the 4th month of the year, the 20th of April.
Who's smokin out today?
I'll be fucked up all day, I started last night so I can be high all through 4:20.

kinda... its not really that well known over here.. but the US and Canada do this 4:20 thing every year... basically a day of weed.... there are deeper reasons but i dont know all the facts. i guess to do with legalisation

sorry incognito, but i dont know any kids that smoke on 4:20 to ease tha pain of hitler b-day an colombine. Tha reason 4:20 is national weed day b/c 420 is tha police code for marijuana in many states

Well I'd never heard of 4:20 day before! Okay correct me if I'm wrong but... So it's a day where a lot of ppl smoke weed, some to ease the pain they feel for Hitler & Colombine, ::) Uh huh, and others for fun. So it's really National Weed Day on that date?? lol!

Yea it is Nat'l Weed DAy, like Tom said , the code of the police for weed is 420. So many people smoke weed yesterday. And im sure no gives a fuck when they are smokin about hitler or the colombine incident

420 is not the police code for weed. The reason that I read out of high times why 420 got started is because of this band. The used to always practice at 4:20 in the afternoon, and they would always be blazin. They started passing out flyers for people to watch them, and everyone started blazin at 420. And so that is how 420 started according to High Times Magazine.

"According to Steven Hager, editor of High Times, the term 420 originated at San Rafael High School, in 1971, among a group of about a dozen pot-smoking wiseacres who called themselves the Waldos, who are now pushing 50. The term was shorthand for the time of day the group would meet, at the campus statue of Louis Pasteur, to smoke pot. Intent on developing their own discreet language, they made 420 code for a time to get high, and its use spread among members of an entire generation. While our teens feel that they know something we don't, you can let them in on the fact that it was your generation that came up with the numbers.
A quote from one of the Waldos in the High Times article states, "We did discover we could talk about getting high in front of our parents without them knowing by using the phrase 420." Fortunately, your teenagers will not have that same option."
