Yeah last night at Roxy, seems like Trick sent one of his goons up to Plies while he was performing and well Plies told the DJ to cut the music off, and got into the goon face, and well, Plies security started closing down shop on n*ggas.

It is true story that Plies is really killin it out in Mia right now, so the theory of trick bein a lil jealous adds up
Plies & Trick Daddy are both on atlantic, and plies pushed way more #s than trick...shit like that could lead up to jealousy i guess
ofcourse everybody knows that trick runs Mia still, he a legend down there, nobody could take that shit away from em. But trust me man, Plies is no fad. He got a solid, strong fan base which seems to be very loyal (including myself). The way I see plies right now, is the way i saw T.I. in 2003. We all know how he turned out.

i feel you. i actually like plies myself. what i meant is, in the long run, in my opinion plies will seem like a fad in comparison to what TDD is. that's not to say that plies wont be on top for a little while though.

I've been out in Florida since 2002, so I've seen how many millions of people worship Trick, with some saying he's better than Pac, Jay, and Big...and right now, many of them are sayin that Plies is the best out. So it's the same as how The Game is "hotter" than Snoop, or at least was when he first dropped, but Snoop was still the legend...so even if Game moved more units on an album, people know Snoop's still the king.
It does seem like Trick has a million goons in Florida...and these goons out here just look grimey and burnt out compared to North and West Coast thugs. As far as Pleis hood shit...everybody say his brother was the real one, but everybody knows he's 31 and has a MASTERS degree from USF (South Florida).
Personally, Plies got a WHOLE LOT of his style and image from Trick, but he's still not enarly as dope of a rapper, even though he's had dope ass songs because of his production and hooks. I think Plies flow and delivery are hella dull, he overdoes that thug shit, and he just comes off as ignorant to me. I'm black, but I don't feel like hearin "Puzzyazz crakkuzz" on every other line like he did on 100 years.

^Nah, owned by Ted Lucas. TDD, and i think his bro (or cousin?) helped get it poppin, so Trick was heavy with it. I think he felt screwed over after his last album (no promotion, etc.), so he kept it movin.

im not saying trick does, but plies in no way spits good lyrics. NOT AT ALL. unless with strictly talking "i like listening to plies in a party, or when im driving" then theres nothing to like bout him or his repetitive music. him and Flo-Rida are just annoying as fuck.

Well that's my point.....having your Masters is a great accomplishment....so it is quite contradictory that someone who has this tries to act, talk, dress, and rap much more hood than most rappers who only have HS degrees. For him to be intelligent, he doesn't come across like that in his records, and that's not a good look to me. He said something IGNORANT as hell in an interview, talkin about "Plies is a tool for yankin these niggus out the rap game" and when the dude doing the interview told him "well I know that Pliers are a tool" or whatever, he responded like "well fuck all that, I'm from da south, you know they don't teach us no gramma! Just buy my album!!"
