First of all why the hell would you think this spells nothing but trouble for the stability of the world and secondly why are you so mightily proud of the Turkish government when they routinely torture kurdish children? in fact the Turkish model which is so readily and happily produced by the western governments they are envisaging the future face of democracy in the middle east is a sick joke, the turkish government has violated the rights of kurds, has brutalised and murdered hundreds of thousands of them through the decades.

And ya'll shouldn't be so quick to disrespect the Turkish army. They've had the strongest military in Asia for centuries. Just 400 years ago ago they used to be the envy of all Europe. Their land still stretches across two continents and they are still one of the top 5 military powers in the world.
They represent one of the last great world Empires. And even after their defeat in World War 1, they were the only country on the losing side that did not have their ruler (the Sultan) deposed by the Allies. And the allied forces were soon driven out and the countries integrity and self-determination was maintained while otrher Muslim nations became were undergoing subjugation at the feet of the West.
So Turkey is no joke. They are not dumb people when it comes to government and military affairs. Just ask Lawrence of Arabia. He wrote in his journal that the Turks were more capable of government than the Arabs and people knew Palestine would easily fall in Jewish hands once the Turks were out and it was left to the Arabs.
The Turks are no joke, show some respect. Peace.

400 years ago doesn't count for much these days, but 100 years ago counts for more. If you look at the regions the Turks were providing administration for just 100 years ago, your talking about the Balkans, the Middle East, Palestine... these are regions that they held together with a minimal number of officials; and since they lost those regions 100 years ago those lands have been the most volatile and poorly managed area's on Earth.
And like I said above, while the rest of the Muslim world was being subjugated and colonized Turkey always maintained their self-determination, and their economy and territorial integrity has continued to thrive over the last 100 years. Even now, there is an internal battle going on in Turkey between Islam and secularism, but the Muslims there are clever and they've never allowed it to turn into a bloodbath.
Although I think that for the most part the people of Turkey experience a lot of freedom and adversity, I would have to admit that I don't agree with the fact that people have been put in prisons in Turkey for doing nothing more than saying something against Attaturk. Also, I don't like it that they have historically reffered to the Kurds as the "mountain turks" and not allowed them to express their cultural heritage.
But the subject here is about the application of efficient government and effective military; and in that regard the Turks are nothing to joke about. And it's not just that they have been more capable than the Arabs, but they are more capable in government than the Afgans or Indian subcontinent as well, and if we compared we could say they've been able to provide more efficient government than alot of people, races, and regions.
