Title: Eminem-Kim
Post by: Tha Psycho Hustla on December 10, 2007, 01:35:39 PM
CLASSIC SONG.
EM is really psycho, man.i feel sorry for him in some way.but the song is straight lunatic.
i got a q.
it is a "dialogue" between em and kim right?
so why they hell does he say that shit that doesnt fit and makes no sence.
look at the lines i marked.whos is he talking about?i cant get it.
"four years old boy?" "song"? and the whole shit with "you and your husband" is he thinking about alibis or what the hell?what song is he taling about?
damn it got me  ???
[Eminem]
Look at daddy's baby girl
That's daddy's baby
Little sleepy head
Yesterday I changed your diaper
Wiped you and powdered you
How did you get so big?
Can't believe it, now you're two
Baby you're so precious
Daddy's so proud of you
Sit down, bitch!
You move again
I'll beat the shit out of you!

["Kim"]
Okay

[Eminem]
Don't make me wake this baby
She don't need to see what I'm about to do
Quit crying, bitch!
Why do you always make me shout at you?
How could you just leave me
And love him out the blue
Aww, what's the matter, Kim?
Am I too loud for you?
Too bad, bitch
You're gonna finally hear me out this time
At first I'm like:
"Aiite, you wanna throw me out? That's fine!"
But not for him to take my place
Are you out your mind?
This couch, this TV
This whole house is mine!
How could you let him sleep in our bed?
Look here, Kim!
Look at your husband now!

["Kim"]
No!

[Eminem]
I said look at him!
He ain't so hot now is he?
Little punk

["Kim"]
Why are you doing this?

[Eminem]
Shut the fuck up!

["Kim"]
You're drunk!
You're never gonna get away with this!

[Eminem]
You think I give a fuck?
Come on, we're going for a ride, bitch

["Kim"]
No!

[Eminem]
Sit up front!

["Kim"]
We can't just leave Hailie alone
What if she wakes up?

[Eminem]
We'll be right back
Well, I will, you'll be in the trunk

CHORUS (2x):
So long, bitch you did me so wrong
I don't wanna go on
Living in this world without you

[Eminem]
You really fucked me, Kim
You really did a number on me
Never knew me cheating on you
Would come back to haunt me
But we was kids then, Kim, I was only 18
That was years ago
I thought we wiped the slate clean
That's fucked up!

["Kim"]
I love you

[Eminem]
Oh God, my brain is racing!

["Kim"]
I love you

[Eminem]
What are you doing?
Change the station, I hate this song
Does this look like a big joke?

["Kim"]
No

[Eminem]
There's a four year old boy
Lying dead with a slit throat
In your living room, ha ha
What, you think I'm kidding you?

You loved him didn't you?

["Kim"]
No!

[Eminem]
Bullshit, you bitch!
Don't fucking lie to me!
What the fuck's this guy's problem
On the side of me?
Fuck you asshole, yeah, bite me!
Kim, Kim, why don't you like me?
You think I'm ugly, don't you?

["Kim"]
It's not that!

[Eminem]
No, you think I'm ugly

["Kim"]
Please!

[Eminem]
Get the fuck away from me, don't touch me!
I hate you, i hate you!
I swear to god i hate you
Oh my God, i love you
How the fuck could you do this to me?

["Kim"]
Sorry

[Eminem]
How the fuck could you do this to me?

-CHORUS-

[Eminem]
C'mon. get out

["Kim"]
I can't, I'm scared!

[Eminem]
I said "Get out", bitch!

["Kim"]
Let go of my hair, please don't do this, baby
Please, I love you
Look, we can just take Hailie and leave

[Eminem]
Fuck you, you did this to us
You did it, it's your fault
Oh my God, I'm crackin' up
Get a grip, Marshall
Hey, remember the time we went to Brian's party
And you were like so drunk
That you threw up all over Archie
That was funny, wasn't it?

["Kim"]
Yes

[Eminem]
That was funny, wasn't it?!

["Kim"]
Yes!

[Eminem]
See it all makes sense, doesn't it?
You and your husband have a fight
One of you tries to grab a knife
And during the struggle
He accidentally gets his Adam's apple sliced

["Kim"]
No!

[Eminem]
And while this is goin' on
His son just woke up and he just walks in
She panics and he gets his throat cut

["Kim"]
Oh my God!

[Eminem]
So now they both dead
And you slash your own throat
So now it's double homicide
And suicide with no note
I should have known better

When you started to act weird
We could've.. hey!
Where you going? Get back here!
You can't run from me, Kim!
It's just us, nobody else
You're only making this harder on yourself
Ha! Ha! Gotcha!
Ha, go ahead, yell!
Here, I scream with you:
"Aaah, somebody help!"
Don't you get it bitch?
No one can hear you
Now shut the fuck up and get what's comin to you
You were supposed to love me!
Now bleed, bitch, bleed!
Bleed, bitch, bleed!
Bleed!

-CHORUS-

what does he mean "you and your husband" and "four years old boy" what does he mean?who is he refering to?

The husband is the guy Kim was cheating on him with and the boy is the guys son. Em says that he kills the husband and then the four year old boy walks in and he has to kill him too.

The other part is hows he planned it. The cops will think Kim and her husband had a fight and she slit his throat and had to kill his son when he saw what she had done. Then he said that they would think she commit suicide after.

yeah; the slim shady LP was dope, and the Marshall mathers LP was even better imo. i respect that Eminem dares to talk about very personal stuff on rap songs.
it's a shame that he started to tone down his lyrics not long after the first D12 album.

Your kufi isn't worth smacking, so you shouldn't speak so low of yourself.

And I don't own a pair of sandals....or a turban. Your insults are about as bad as your taste in Eminem songs.

Classic? Naah... No way. It's an interesting track 'cause of the delivery is different from anything else. But when it comes down to the raps - the lyrics, the flow, the rhymes - Em has so many tracks other than this that really could be considered classic. "Kim" just isn't that. The "screaming psycho fight" -handle works great for setting the mood to the track, and it works great with the story, but otherwise there isn't much to the track IMO.

I think a lot have to do with what kind of music seeped into their brains while they were small. Kim has this Grunge element to it that just about every white kid would have heard non stop when they were little kids and they associate that with Kim. I think thy like the idea of the song more than the song. I never thought much of Eminm as a lyricist or storyteller. He's more like Tarantino while I prefer more of the Clint Eastwood style of story telling. More gritty, more real. Just my taste though.

Anyway, most black kids who were teens when Kim came out weren't listening to punk influenced music as kids. They were jumping up and down for MJ's Black or White while white kids were rocking their heads to Smeels Like Teen Spirit or Jeremy.

Personally I think the concept is silly, the delivery is over the top, and the lyrics canbe replaced with the Mushrooms song and vice versa. There is nothing really deep about it.

its not supposed to be deep, its an expression of anger, a vent, a muthafucking spaz-attack in lyrical form.
Its like therapy, getting shit off your chest, instead of keeping it inside.....

...music is reflection of self, we just explain it, and then we get our checks in the mail. It's fucked up ain't it?/ How we can come from practically nothing to being able to have any fuckin' thing that we wanted/That's why we sing for these kids, who don't have a thing except for a dream, in a fuckin' rap magazine/who post pin-up pictures on they walls all day long, idolize they favorite rappers and know all they songs/Or for anyone who's ever been through shit in their lives, till they sit and they cry at night wishin' they'd die/Till they throw on a rap record and they sit, and they vibe. We're nothin' to you but we're the fuckin' shit in they eyes/that's why we seize the moment try to freeze it and own it, squeeze it and hold it, cuz we consider these minutes golden/and maybe they'll admit it when we're gone. Just let our spirits live on, through our lyrics that you hear in our songs and we can...

It's a stupid murder story that sounds more like whining than it does rage. His lyrics are too literal and pretentious when serious for me to think all that much of them. I think his ability to rap, flow and rhyme is phenominal. I just don't think much or his words or plots.

as for the song never really liked it...then again im a reasonably happy and secure person....ruined a very good album for me...specially as it was sandwhiched between two of my favourite tracks...thought it wasa bit OTT...now bonnie & clyde was a dope song as he still managed to inject some of his trademark humour...

lmao@quiet truths comments at the beginning....funny how there is some truth to that....but be careful, steriotypes leads to racism....infact they intertwine......but thats taking it too far and thats on TOT secction shit...

in regards to this post....

i think when i was younger i probably bumped this a few times, i thought the hook was aight back then but i never considered the song anywhere near classic...oh im black by the way,aha....

but for real, the joint is wayyy ott for me....i prefer eminems flow when his chilled but kinda pissed.....like the joints on mmlp where his complaining about shit on dre westcoast influenced beats....such as "who knew" joint or something like that....you know the "i never knew i would get this rich"...joint...and if his gonna be pissed and use his albums as anger management i prefer shit like "the way i am" or "solider".....this is def not music to me....but like shallow said it is music....everything we hear on the radio which is a song is music....

its like an academic piece of work....damn a cat could have a 10000 word essay full of shit and another could have a 1000 word essay which is amazing....they both academic work...ones just garbage, the other is great....

anyways im not a fan of this joint....nuttin personal, i think hiphop needs eminem but not an encore or a recylced eminem....but like this shit was made when eminem was at his peak so like even though i aint a fan of this, i cannot hate
