Title: For those that think Nader is ruining things
Post by: M Dogg™ on February 25, 2008, 02:41:25 PM
With the election right now, Nader will not be a factor, as most of Nader's base (under 30 liberals) are solidly behind Obama. And if there is a way Hillary wins, by forcing a "broker" convention, and then winning the nomination in the famous smoke filled room (though I thought Democrats want to ban smoke inside hotels) then there is something truly wrong with our Democracy and there has to be an alternative liberal that we people can turn too, even if it ruins the party because as Nader said, if the Democrats lose then they should just fold up and comeback in another form. This time around, Nader wouldn't be the one that can ruin the Democrats chance at the White House, that would be Hillary.

you do have a point. But if Obama becomes the candidate he's still an asshole for every vote he gets in the final election.
