really? i like that album a lot. I thought it was missing substance and really songs like this one right here. "my type" was the only track with substance and i guess that's why ppl dislike the album. not a diss at u at all, i'm just saying. your talkin bout hot beats and not sayin nothin (i somewhat agree with u since i mentioned the whole substance thing) but many others said hot lyrics and wack beats...its weird lol :-\
anyways back on topic, i have a GREAT feeling about this album, esp cause he's writing again, had so much time on house arrest to work on it and toomp is back on board ;)

yeah everyone loves KING & Trap Muzik, well deserved as well, those are great. TI VS TIP and his other 2 get mixed reviews and TI VS TIP is the best out of those specific 3 (im serious & urban legend being the other two) so i guess u can say it'll go down as his most under rated album
I think those who didnt like TI VS TIP were expecting too much. After such a great album like King, the fans automatically await the next album and then TIP goes ahead and announces a unique concept for a hip-hop album, making the anticipation reach another level. What often happens with that is u get disappointed fans, and not because the album didnt deliver, but because they expected 2 much.

Seems like people cant decide what they dont like about it.
I don't like the album.It had good beats, but TI wasn't saying anything worth listening to more than three or four times. If it was any other artist, this would be a good effort, but coming from TI, it's substandard. It had no replayability. The split-personality shit was corny too. Thats what I didn't like about the album.
This new track is hot though, I think this trial lit a fire under his ass.

+1 for the link Luna. I think this songs pretty dope. But on to what you guys were saying about T.I Vs T.I.P, i think that album was missing some substance like you said. When i first heard it i was let down and thought it sucked but then it grew on me like crazy and i start feelin it. BUT i didnt like that split personality shit either. In the end it was a pretty decent album, couldve had more meaningful shit on there like this track. O well, i hope Paper Trail will be better, cant wait for that shit!!!
