He could have gone the commercial route and do what's considered "hot" by today's standards but he did not. He kept it old school ans it's a great album !

Post by: Tay on May 21, 2008, 04:56:20 PM: Finally gave this album a couple of good listens, it's nice and relaxing. Pretty much what I would expect from an Al Green album at this time, smooth and low-key, simple production, and good use of guests. This is why I like to change it up and listen to the soul/R&B genre, it's not all over the place like some hip-hop, rap, and rock, so it's a lot easier to listen to the WHOLE album.
