just to give you some info on it, it's a lossless audio file. somewhat like mp3s but has a better compression rate and is free of licensing fees (unlike mp3s)
what program do you use to play your music? there might be plug-ins for your own program or you might have to change to another program

youre gonna have to find a new extraction program. flac files are nice but it is a pain in the ass to download them unexpectedly

There's an input to dBpowerAMP which allows you to convert FLAC's into MP3's

Take a giant hammer and smash your hardrive. The flac file should appear.

try and rename it to .rar and see what happens.
I had a flac file and winrar did the damn thang for me.
