You can see how in today's society we applaud evil and persecute good. DMX ignorantly suggests that Ja Rule isn't real unless he has been to jail, or poisoned the minds of his community through drug trade. What's really real is telling your listeners the truth.
Now... if DMX had been to jail as a political prisoner, then his statements would have some moral value. But DMX has been to jail for drug use. Since when has disrespecting and destroying your mind and body been an admirable characteristic?

It's not like DMX is sayin Ja Rule's a punk cuz he don't do evil shit. Well he is.. but I think he means, that Ja Rule is a punk for not doing evil shit when he's yellin' out "Murdaaa" in every song... tryna portray that gangsta life. So he's fake cuz he aint really doing tha shit he's speaking on.
So... You can say that Ja Rule is fake for not slangin or bangin... cuz he fronts and acts like he gets down like that... but you can't say someone like Mos Def is fake for not doing tha same shit cuz he dont try to play that role..
