I live in Charlotte, and Jodeci is from Charlotte. Well, K-Ci and Jojo had a thing downtown at a park sunday, for the community, like a shoe drive, to get donated shoes to give to needy kids. They also collected school supplies. Get this, K-Ci and JoJo showed up with their church Choir, and sang gospel songs, LOL as members of the choir. Scarface was there, and hung out giving autographs to kids all day. He donated a bunch of money, and then over the weekend there were various interviews with all three of them.
K-Ci said that they had just finished their latest album, and it would be out soon. In a couple weeks, they're going back in the studio to record the Jodeci reunion album! They said they had all been workin' on new tracks seperately, and unless it'll be as good as diary of a mad band, they won't release it.
Scarface gave out his address, said he's accepting demos, listened to this AWESOME guy freestyle in the studio, and was talking about signing him to def jam south, he said he goes by "Face" pretty much anymore,... said he lived for the kids, And said he's buying a house in Charlotte. Why, I have no idea, I think he lives in Atlanta alot now. He said his new album is 'spiritual'.

Thanks for the news homie. I saw Face last week at the 106 & Park taping here in Houston. Didn't get a chance to talk to him cause the place was too fuckin' packed.
Was the M.C. he was thinking of signing from Charlotte? Thanks for the info homie.

yeah, the guy works at the studio, he was MAD, too, the guy was crazy. He went on tour with the kings of comedy, he does standup, but man, he can flow. Face was just holding up stuff from around the studio, and the guy would fit it in the flow. At the end, they stopped the beat, and were laughing, and dude kept flowing for like 2 minutes with no beat.

was one of his lines, it was all hot stuff. Face held up a pen, and the guy said something about break out the def jam south contract and he'd sign it or something, it all rhymed perfectly like it was written out, the whole thing was hot. He reminded me of Crooked I, or Eminem, just freestyling and throwing in whatever word they held up.

Damn, wish I could of been there. I'm lucky to ever see shit on the TV featuring artists like 'Face over here :P That guy sounds pretty amazing too, look forward to hearing more about this cat. Good to hear about them doing charity gigs, there's not many artists nowadays in the rap game that take action, most are just all talk.
