Which album do you guys think is better??
My vote goes to Stillmatic as i found it to be a way better album, as it is a near classic. Plus it was always the rebirth of Nas and he came with such a banging album. I still bang Stillmatic everyday.

these 2 rappers are 2 differents, those who prefer Eminem prefer The Show and those who prefer Nas will go for Stillmatic, my votee goes to Em

STILLMATIC EASILY! this album was the best to come out of 2001 and was a very dope album. The em show kinda sucked IMO. I find it funny that everyone at first was sayin that oh stillmatic is the shit and it's classic and now people keep sayin the em show is better and still matic is not classic but the em show is. I think people just get caught up in the hype to much becuase to me this album kinda sucks. heres my ratings for these two albums:

IMO the "EMINEM SHOW" was a more complete album, and it had less weak points. STILLMATIC was dope , a solid 4.25\5 imo, but "EM show" was more of an instant classic typa shit-Imo this is tha perfect comparison to show how more multi dimentional EM is, compared to NAS.

Both are dope albums, but The Eminem Show hasn't got one wack song, Stillmatic got some I always skip listenin to it. On the other hand Stillmatic does have more longevity (I can't tell why, but I already kinda had enough of TES after 2 weeks), so it's a hard descision...I go with Stillmatic

To me there two different emcees, but there both talented. The only Nas album better then The Eminem Show was Illmatic. Eminem Show had better lyrics and less skippable songs, whereas Stillmatic only had like 4 - 5 songs that really stood out.

dunno both a tie for me, i mean stillmatic feels more a hip hop album, with better beats for me while eminems album dont seem to have that lil west coast influenced feel like his others did but his flow is way to interestin for me to not listen, overall i dont listen both now,lol but imma go with a tie

Em Show was good, but I was feeling Stillmatic more. The Eminem Show was a great album and was an artistic masterpeace. Stillmatic was, to me anyways, the comeback of real hip-hop. Em's issues and lyrics pushed him up, but Nas's return to the streets, in which I relate, got it for me. I give it to Nas, who I heard is not going to Murder Inc.

i LOVE EMINEM show..the production ain't all that but overall, its def improvement than his last 2 bullshit albums...stillmatic DOESN'T have replay value except several songs..so for now its eminem but shit could change

Both are indeed dope albums, but I think Eminem was more consistent throughout his album. Stillmatic's stamina ran out on the last few tracks of the album.

I havn't listened to "The Eminem Show" since the week it dropped :-/ I think it's a brilliant album but I think I played it so much when I got the rip off the net that when I did cop it the first day it dropped it's replay value dried out after that first week of listening to the official copy. The same thing happened with MMLP. I've listened to "Stillmatic" atleast once every week since it dropped, so that basically says alot about which one I prefer & my reasons for it.

EMINEM'S ALBUM GOT ONE LISTEN OUT OF ME AND THAT WAS ALL I NEEDED TO KNOW THAT THIS WAS NO THE ALBUM FOR ME. IT'S STILL THE SAME OL SHIT OUT OF HIM. TALKING ABOUT HIS MOM, TALKING ABOUT HIS X, AND TALKING ABOUT HIMSELF. TO ME IT SOUNDED LIKE A RAP/ROCK RECORD. THE ONLY SONG I COULD RELATE TO WAS SUPERMAN BUT BESIDES THAT I CANT RELATE TO THIS ALBUM.
NAS ALBUM RELATED TO THE PROBLEMS GOING ON IN BLACK AMERICA WHICH I CAN RELATE TOO SINCE IM A BLACK MAN IN AMERICA. SONGS LIKE REWIND, ONE MIC, 2ND CHILD HOOD WERE NEW THINGS EXPLORED IN HIP-HOP. HE WAS TELLING STORIES THAT BLACKS GO THROGH EVERYDAY. YEAH HE HAD SOME WACK SONGS LIKE "RULE" BUT EVEN THAT SONG HAD A MESSAGE IN. "WHAT GOES AROUND" HAD A MESSAGE.

Rule is a fuckin dope song. That was one of my favs on the album. The only wack song was Braveheart Party, i don't know what Nas was thinking putting that song on.

I think "Rule" was pretty dope too, if may have a little bit more of a commercial feel to it but it's got a really good message behind it and the sample works perfectly with the whole concept of the song, and since "Braveheart Party" isn't on the newer versions of "Stillmatic" i'd pretty much say that "Stillmatic" is free of wack tracks now.

When I first bought and bumped Eminem Show I liked it better than Stillmatic. But now I think Stillmatic is a better album. Em Show is dope, it had a lot influence from different music genres, but Stillmatic was just Real Hip Hop and thats what I like. Em SHow had to much of a Rock influence for my taste.

the beats played down the album cuz alot of it was to loud and rocky while nas has hip hop beats

Cause it's a matter of opinion, But in my case both were solid efforts.
But "Stillmatic" is the only lp that get's any play outta the 2.
Like a homie stated above....the "Eminem Show" got played out after the first week, and I avoided the rip :-/ .
I hate the singing track's, And everytime he (Eminem) mention's Pac, I automaticly hit the foward button....lol
I can't stand that shit!!!!!!!
I know there is a bunch of people who will disagree with me, but I bet a bunch of other peep's will understand where I'm coming from.
I hate it when rapper's mention Pac & Big...( Constanly hit the foward button when listening to Jigga & Nas aswell...lol just to mention a few)
